I know what you mean. I always liked the scratching noise a vinyl LP made while it played ..

Mastodon - Blood Mountain
Burst - Origo
The Haunted - The Dead Eye
Novembers Doom - The Pale Haunt Departure
Dog Fashion Disco - Adultery
I didn't know DFD had a new disc. Is it good? I previewed it on the iTunes store, but I couldn't get a feel for whether or not it is worth buying.

I prefer "The Embryo's in Bloom" and I haven't cared a whole lot for their subsequent releases.
I like it, but it does sound an awful lot like Mr Bungle. I guess I'm using it to fill in the void that was left in my life when Mr Bungle disbanded.

My Chemical Romance - The Black Parade
The Prize Fighter Inferno - My Brothers Blood Machine
Trivium - The Crusade

Those are the most recent cd's that have come into my posession. I love MCR and Prize Fighter but I was seriously dissapointed with the new Trivium album.

Gatton is a monster! Redneck jazz explosion was in the CD player on the prison tour again! How bout a copy Joe bud?

Also on our new van flatscreen DVD we had Thin Lizzy live in '78 and Wishbone Ash, 30th anniversary concert.

for those of you who saw Neocracy in Williamsburg, these guys are good friends of Neocracy and they pound.. great band!

While in Altoona yesterday, I picked up...

2Pac - Live
The Dave Brubeck Quartet - Time Out
The Zombies - Greatest Hits
The Pixies - Surfer Rosa

That's a pretty electic haul.
"He's the electric horseman, you better back off!" - old sKool making a reference to the culturally relevant 1979 film.
