Any good New Year's Eve stories?

Post by songsmith »

How'd you all make out? I spent NYE at the Post with Randy Jackson & friends... very cool with a horn section. They even did, "Low Spark of High Heel Boys," which was very cool. The spumanti was nice, too, fruity and sweet.
Anything interesting happen to anyone?----->JMS

After midnight at City Limits, Hair Force One directed the audience to a SpongeBob pinata hanging over the dance floor, and when female audience members finally busted it open, a bunch of condoms spilled out!

Otherwise, kickass HF1 show, at least what I can remember of it!

Ok I sorta posted this when I came home last night very drunk... LOL

The whole night rocked, my friends, the bands, the food...The blueberry French Kisses :) The kisses at midnight...Everything was great...

The funniest thing that happened tho...I was standing talking to my friend Ryan and Patrick and Patrick's girlfriend and this creepy guy comes over claiming he has met us all online, never seen him in my life, was like ummm ok then who are you, whats your name online then??? Keep in mind I was so drunk I kept falling on Patrick and the pool table...He just keept saying his name was Stan, and he met us all online... I remember telling him he was creepy and to go away that I didnt like him...He wouldnt...So Cheese comes over to say goodbye and I tell him this guy is creepy I dont like him, The guy walked away... I was like yes hes gone...TOTALLY forgot about him, went and got my good bye hugs and kisses, and went outside for the normal hang outside Aldo's and chat, hug and say good bye again,he shows back up, and again everyone is ignoring him, he leaves...Well Ryan walked me over to my house cuz well I might not have found it...lol too many blueberry kisses,lol...

Im saying bye to Ryan and we are looking at pix I took, and this guy shows back up and we try to go in my house but Dude starts to come up my stairs so we walk back down making him have to stand on the side walk... So we go back to lookin at my pix and ignoring him and he starts asking me if I have a problem with ryan and if I want to have sex with him cuz if I do he will leave, Im like Ryan is my brother and you need to leave I dont like you...He doesnt listen starts telling me he likes me and stuff, I take my camera and show him someone on there, and say do you look like this??? HMMMM DO YOU, no I dont think so , this here is what I like and thats not you, so f*ck off, hes says F*ck is a good word and I said so is c*nt which is what you are, go away, this is my house leave I dont want you here, so HE CALLS THE COPS TELLS THEM HE DOESNT WANT TO LEAVE AND THAT I CALLED HIM A C*NT... LMFAO

Needless to say the police showed up, and he got a ride home....In the back of their car...HAHA he called the cops on himself, how great is that...

anyways the night was great....and I had a great laugh, tho some parts were filled in for me this morning but all good :)

Damn WitchChic, sounds like you had a fun night. Mine was pretty fun too. No interesting stories to share though, of course i was only at the hilltop til around 1 or so, sang some karaoke, watched the ball drop, and got shitfaced. It just sucked that we werent playing anywhere last night, i wish we could have. Maybe this year we will do a NYE show. Dont worry tho, Echo Chamber is getting an altoona gig here in feb, basically because im gonna be away for a large part of january.

I got to go to a party with the wife where I got to sit and listen to women talk about who was hotter (for example, Beyonce vs. Mariah) and who was classier (for example, Christina Aguilera vs. Britney Spears) while watching MTV New Year's Eve. I swear to God that my IQ dropped 30 points last night, maybe more. I think I have to leave school because I am now too stupid to understand math.

I did manage to find a Strat in the corner midway through the night so I took it and zoned out with it until everyone left/passed out and I could leave.

Well, if your IQ dropped that low at least now the conversation on rockpage may seem intelligent.

Dude, i feel bad for you. MTV is the reason (in this day and age) that people are so stupid. Back in the day when MTV first came out it was cool as hell because they actually had music on there. Now you are lucky to find any music on there at all, and when you do find it, its all rap. VH1 is even going the way of MTV because you hardly see anything on there anymore. 3 or 4 years ago MTV2 was the alternative for music videos, but now its just the same as MTV. The only place to really get music videos now is youtube, or if you have comcast, Music On Demand.

I wish there was a 24/7 music channel that wasnt loaded down with all this reality show/pop - teen bullshit.

A very happy new year to you all! Well, my eve was weird. I played at Burgi's though I'm pretty old, and my son played at a VFW though he's really young. And Sir Bobby Hurricane, where did you finally wind up going?

The NYE show that I played was great. It turned out to be a packed house.
Although routine in many ways, it was memorable. There were so many wild women in attendance someone could've started a cathouse. What I find interesting time & time again is being in the situation of performing while many of these ladies are dancing about 12 feet in front of you like they're having sex, tearing the paint off the wall. Now that is always a welcome distraction! All of the sudden, two of these dancers give each other a big old long kiss right in the middle of the dance floor. That was interesting. When all was said & done, it looked like a bomb went off in the joint! Obviously, a good time was had by all. Lets do it again next time! Happy New Year to everyone!

I've drank enough beer to float a battleship! Go ahead and Rock & Roll all night if you can but don't party every day!

... i watched 10 manitees all wearing midriff t-shirts dance to "hips dont lie" at the Hot Point Inn in Shippensburg -- asking god why he hates me so much that he couldn't allow just 1 cute girl to come into the bar that night...

i also ended up wearing a "happy new year" tiara on top of an Atlanta Braves hat, doing the rap version of "2 stepping" to music.. and screaming "To the Window... To the Wall... Till the sweat drips from my balls... skeet skeet skeet skeet skeet skeet mother fucker skeet skeet skeet skeet skeet skeet skeet skeet"

so that means i was drunk... cuz i hate rap, but i had fun... and now the holidays are over, and im ready for my vacation in Anchorage next month :)

I had the best kind of NYE. A quiet evening at home with my wife and two sons.

We also kept our 2 month old niece for the night, so my brother-in-law and his fiance´ could go out.

My wife worked all day, and by the time we got all 3 kids down for the night I was the only one still awake to watch the ball drop.

Family. An ideal evening. :)

Nothing crazy here; we had band practice! We showed up at our practice place to find the PA was out for the evening (we share it). So we worked on a bunch of instrumental parts, then ended up at a bar with karaoke where the singer ran through some songs. Maybe karaoke is good for something after all. 8)

I was at aldo's (of course) and some dick head was picking on this mentally challenged guy that was minding his own business. He was talking about beating this poor guy up. Then he looks at a girl near by and says something to the extent of.. you got a problem with me... she says "i am not even about to do this right now" turns around and points to one of the regulars. He comes over to deflate the situation and gets punched.. so then he tackles this dickhead and a few guys along with him run this kid out of the building head first through two doors (yes..opening the door with his head)

the night was a good night all together though.. four great bands plus we always love to play out.. we made some good money and aldo's was packed.. good times were had

Good times at the Phyrst in State College with The Nightcrawlers. Noah always has these little nuggets of wisdom when he's been drinking. Last night it was:

"You know there are millions of sperm out there and no matter how hard life is, remember you are all winners, because you got in there man."

Gotta love Noah.

OH My Chell! Thankfully you had enough sense about you to NOT walk home alone. Good thinking on Ryan's part to see you got home safely. God only knows what that nut balls intentions really were.

Yeah really... BUT All was well and the best part is he called the cops on himself... Its a good laugh... LMAO...Ryan was getting a kick outta it all day mostly the part where I told him do you look like this, I dont think so....LMAO and my calling him that word, I think Ryan quoted me even in his blog,LMAO, then the calling of the cops...The cops just looked at him and shook their head told us to go inside and we never heard another thing just saw the cops leaving...LMAO...

It really was one of the best New Years Ive had in a long time, even with the creepy ppl and the jerks starting fights and making Choking Faith cut Fat Bottom Girls Short!!! Least I went in happy , went home happy , went to sleep happy, and woke up happy and NO hangover... :)
