You don't like that fact that a mass murderer is put to justice?CredoSpeek wrote:Yeah that's funny ... woo hoo someone is dead... Yeee haw , hey ma slaughter the fattest ground hawg we gunna party... and after we sober up lets go celebrate outside an abortion clinic, we love when anything dies....

justice???
I don't see killing someone as justice, I don't believe in killing!! anyone anytime anyplace!! and then to celebrate as well? What is wrong with you people? What about the innocent people we have killed Imagine if we were invaded and W. was taken to another country and put on trial for un just war and then sentenced to hang I'm betting that wouldn't be ok , and I bet you have 1000 + reasons that is different? We ( US) is as guilty for killing civilians as Saddam. But because we are a superpower no one challenges. I think we should mind our own business and live and let live. My point is if this very thing had happened any place else you ALL would say it was wrong! I know you all I read what you say , you all have the idea that US is always right and guess what US is NOT !!

And who
No Russ and Robbie my response is which one of you or who on the jury is God? No one other than God can judge someone and that my bible following friends is also written word, so I challenge you as you have just challenged me how do you pick and choose what part of the bible you follow? would you also have gays put to death? Bible says so... what I'm saying is I can't decide what is right or wrong nor can you or anyone else, atleast from a bible standpoint, I have to say Russ you sound very bitter and you claim to be a strict Christian who would not take "your saviors" name in vein, what would you say if you came face to face with your savior and he asked you directly why you are so excited about the killing of one of his children? Or did you forget about the new testament where Christ IS forgiving and peaceful,

What American leader has been worse than Saddam?SuffrInLys wrote:umm i love how you quote half the scripture... the rest says to the extent of.. it should not be eye for an eye. we turn the other cheek.. and then further along it states he who is with out sin cast the first stone.. different section of the Bible same idea.. we are not the judges.. but besides that american leaders have been far worse than he was
Oh come on Rob, don't you remember the time Carter ordered a gas attack on that small community in Ohio? How about the time Clinton called members of his cabinet out and had them killed in The Capitol? And remember Nixon's Son? How he used to go out in the night and rape and murder whom ever he chose.RobTheDrummer wrote:What American leader has been worse than Saddam?SuffrInLys wrote:umm i love how you quote half the scripture... the rest says to the extent of.. it should not be eye for an eye. we turn the other cheek.. and then further along it states he who is with out sin cast the first stone.. different section of the Bible same idea.. we are not the judges.. but besides that american leaders have been far worse than he was
No, you don't because that stuff never happened here, but it did in Iraq under Saddam.

As
As I stated before, like talking to a wall!! Not a child of God? Robbie you know full well he was concieved and born same as you or I, he was flesh and blood and you and Russ were the ones throwin the bible into this BUT because it doesn't suit you in this instance then all of a sudden it applies to everyone BUT Saddam? Your head is in you ass further than I feared.
Christ referred to a "second covenant" or "new covenant," which many biblical scholars interpret as implying that the Old Testament was null and void. The tone between the two halfs of the Bible certainly is different: nowhere in the New Testament do we see God torturing someone (as He did to his faithful servant Saul just to show how powerful He was) or asking a man to sacrifice his son as a show of loyalty. Indeed, the New Testament God is a much kinder and gentler spirit.
Remember also that the Old Testament contains a LOT of stories that were also included in other religions (the great flood and Noah, for example). The idea of Jesus as messiah is also not a unique concept: the early fundamentalist Jewish Essenes predicted the coming of a messiah as well. Techncially, the Old Testament is a Jewish, not a Christian document: the idea of Christianitiy originated with the New Testament (i.e. the birth of Chirst). Under that understanding, and assuming the New Testament is indeed the second covenant, the Old Testament is no longer valid rule and law.
It is good reading though, what with all the wars, blood, rape, incest, and women turning into pillars of salt.

This is the most ridiculous, ludicrous, mindless, full of shit, clueless, idiotic, moronic, imbecilic, simplistic extremist bullshit point of view that I have read in a very long time.SuffrInLys wrote:.. but besides that american leaders have been far worse than he was
(please note that this is directed at the point of view and not the author. Bush haters are often driven to mindless extremes without engaging their own thought process)
Did I say extremist point of view? Why, yes, I did say extremist point of view.
