So Let Me Introduce To You .................

Post by Hawk »

We're a new band in town.

A couple of us are Rock Pagers. Myself (Bill Hocherl, formerly known as Shawn's Dad) and Paul Miller ( of Big Head Guitars). Paul and I have been messing around for a while until we found some "like minded" people to fill out the band. Tracy Felton, Troy Laney and Ed Somerville.

We call ourselves RED EYE

Most of what we play is high energy, rhythmic rock. (The first band I tried out for a year ago threw me out because I played too many cymbal crashes. That's OK though.......they were right.)

Zeppelin, Rush, Ozzy, Audioslave, Velvet Revolver and more fun stuff.

We've played a couple of freebies and we're soon to do our Altoona headline debut (no Rob....that's not Da Butt, it means first appearance) at City Limits. (check up coming shows).

For those of you who dislike my political views, stop by and you'll find out I'm not such a bad guy........or you can come and throw tomatoes at me.

Check out www.redeyerocks.com

If you read my bio, at or near the end is the word "something". It means "screwed up".

If you come be sure to introduce yourself to me........that is........before you throw tomatoes.

I played with both Paul and Ed in my last band and know them as very good guys and accomplished players. I'll definitely be checking this out when I have a night off.

(speaking of Ed, I haven't seen him in a while. He needs to show up and sing Crazy Train with us)

Troy, Ed, and Paul. All played in those good old Northern Cambria bands. I'll be looking for a night out.

Tonight's the night!

Come out to City Limits for a good evening of Rock n Roll.

Opener band starts around 10:00pm, Red Eye goes on at about 11 or 11:30!

Wow, I really wish I would have gotten out earlier. What I did catch of the set was awesome, though.

Man, I wish I could check you guys out. I've played with both Troy and Paul over the years and they both bring it to the table every time. Hey Paul, How's the Bose L1 treating you for sound now? Did you add the lows you needed for it?

Jr. the bose is working out fine I got into my presets on my patches and readjusted the EQ settings and all is good. I still need to play with the presets on the Bose itself as there are so many, I have no problem with the Guitar Synth EQ just the guitar itself but I think I have it figured out. I hope you guys had a good Christmas down there. I will give you a call later today.

Rob, thanks for coming ! And I still say, EVERY time I see you play, you get better. And considering your chops and feel, that's sayin' a lot.

You know I'm happy to see you on your musical adventure !

Take Care
