I was obeying my master. He said to be patient.

The Super Bowl Cramps look pretty lame if you are being completely in touch with your inner feelings.

Actually, they looked good, except for Ben.

Your patience has been rewarded, my friend. The empire has struck back, and the rebellion has been thwarted. Learn to know the darkside.

big ben needs to take this season off...his brains been rattled one to many times and he has become way too umcomfortable throwing the ball...with 2 concussions and surgery all in one season...and its only over...with the steelers definitally not seeing the playoffs...why not give batch some reps...hes been doing great when called on anyway...not to sugest a QB contraversy...because ben is obviously thr starter and the better QB but at this point hes only being hurt physically and phycologically by playing whne ge shouldnt be

I agree, take Ben out and put Batch in. Ben needs to heal some more . His playing is just terrible. It is also ridiculous how they are putting everything on his shoulders, with what he has been threw. It makes me think that they care about nothing more than winning, especially when I persons health is more important than a trophy.

He's insisting on being there. If he said he couldn't go, they wouldn't make him.

And they won't bench him, even though I agree that if Batch had been playing they would be 5-2 at the worst. Remember how long it took to get Kordell benched? Plus, IMO, if you bench him you ruin what may still be a good career by shattering his confidence. This year they are just going to take their lumps, I guess, until he is fully recovered.

Never underestimate the power of the Dark Side ...

Image

Looks like I'll be wearing a Raiders jersey Saturday night ... ughhh ... The scourge of the Sith has more than likely closed the lid on the Steelers' season ...

Image

After Sunday's epic battle against a team that can't even beat the Raiders, all Silver and Black fans can proudly proclaim ...

"We are King Shit of Turd Mountain ..."

the Raiders aren't done winning big games yet this season..

they WILL beat Cincy as well.
they WILL beat Kansas City
they WILL beat San Diego (espicially if Merriman is out)
they WILL beat Seattle
they WILL beat Houston
they WILL beat New Jersey

that's 8-8 to finish the season.

the season aint over yet. our defense has got to feel absolutely great about themselves.. they havent been doing bad all year, but 2 wins in a row.. that really has to make them feel good!

8-8 won't make the playoffs in the AFC.
You can feel good about the offense not moving the ball.
It will catch up with them.
So enjoy it while it lasts because it won't be for long.

Cheers!!!!!!!!

their defense is on a roll.. they got the number 1 rated pass defense, and once they have been grounding the run game as well.. half of the teams i said they will beat have been losing some fucked up games this year (New Jersey, Cincy, Seattle) and Houston is still Houston..

Raiders go 8-8

With the way he has been playing; I would'nt care how much insisting he did, he would be on the bench healing up. Batch has been doing a great job as a back up and should be in there now. Ben will get his confidence back, he just needs to get his health back first ...
