the embalmed ...only hope they do more shows then what is planned. the straw brothers are the shit.. jason ( by far best guitar player ive seen in this area for a long time probally ever) chads vocals kill and just the whole song writing vibe of those two is simply amazing.please tell me it going to be more than a few shows.........
punkinhead would be up there.. i just think jason gets it!! his tone his approach he's got all the spectrum's covered!!! i think.... thats my thoughts iam a big jason traw fan.. he's amazing and i don't think anyone around here can touch he's playin at all..........
first, thanks for the wonderful compliment jay. second, YOU'VE LOST YOUR MIND!!! jay is from pivot, and one of my best friends. please don't take his words as an insult, he's just showing his excitement for me to start playing out again because he knows that i took the end of House of Cain pretty hard. i'm not even as good as the guy that posted this thread (jay fuckin' smokes!!!). rockpage is littered with great guitarists, and i'm glad to be part of the community. but thanks for the kind words!!!!
Jason- i dont think anyone's ego's are hurt cause your friend thinks you rule @ guitar. dont worry, you have nothing to worry about. i HOPE no one would get their panties ruffled cause of that!
It will be cool you see the enbalmed though, as ive stated in the other 13 threads!!! so, when are CE and the Enbalmed getting together???
letteth me know.
I am STOKED to see the Embalmed back on area stages (I wore my "Hooked on Demonics" shirt to the Lies, Inc. debut). Back in the day, The Grimm and I got to do a few shows with these crazy mothers! Who could ever forget such easy listening crooners as "Barbed Wire Morgue" or "With Arms Both Broken"? Killer band all-round...and from what I hear, Lies Inc might get to play a show with y'all in December....

I agree with Kent I can not wait till I get to see em again... They totally rocked and always will and to get to see em with my boys Lies, INC. too cool...I hope that happens
I will say, I have been challenged musically like I never have been before. I think a lot of ppl will like this new lineup, and I think it will not be some ppl's cup of tea. I can live with that, because I think we are crankin out some good jams. I wanted to be in an all original band many yrs ago, and I must say its probably where I belong the most.
The Embalmed has some new dates to post in a few days...
Everyone wants to go to heaven but noone wants to die
speakin for myself, The Embalmed is where I belong. I believe in the commitment that we all put forth. I been part of projects where other aspects in life took priority that in my opinion were not "priorities" and I walked away multiple times disappointed. It will not happen again.
For me, The Embalmed is here to stay. I emailed Scott bout a a gig with u guys....
I can say this: I put time into learning, writing, and advancing technically; its nice to have other guys around me who hold those same ideals. U will get ur KJ cd very soon...
