The Pens second preseason game tonight against Filthydelphia will be the debut of Russian superstar Evgeni Malkin.

I don't know about you guys, but I can't wait to see what all the hype is about. I hope he is as good as they predict he will be.

Shit, if he's that good, they might actually be .500 this year......

You see, Im also a fan of history.. the Broad Street Bullies.. back when the Flyers won their cups in the 70s, Ron Hextall in the 90s, as well as the current system w/ Simon Gagne, Robert Esche, and the future of goaltending.. Antero Nittumaki - yeah they may not have won the cup since the 70s.. but their franchise hasnt gone to shit either.. the Pittsburgh Penguins are the worst run franchise in professional sports, and in my opinion.. I feel the only thing that will truely save this franchise is relocation..

Mark my words.. in the next 10 years, the Pittsburgh Penguins become either the NEW Winnipeg Jets or the first professional hockey team in Las Vegas..

When it comes down to it.. the Flyers have the most talented team in the league.. if it werent for injuries, and the olympics (the Flyers had one of the highest number of Olympians in the NHL) the Flyers would have won the Cup.. but when you lose Peter Forsberg, Sami Kapinen, Robert Esche, Simon Gagne, and Keith Primeau for over half a season to injuries.. your team wont win in the playoffs.. even with RJ Umberger, Antero Nittumakki in the lineup..

if Forsberg, and Gagne are healthy.. all season long.. and if Kapinen can stay out of physical harm, and pick up on the defense.. the Flyers will steamroll everybody.. Peter Forsberg at 50 percent healthy is better than everybody in the league when they're 100 percent healthy.. the Penguins? They got a Canuck who is the next Gretzky.. but until he leaves Pittsburgh.. he wont amount to dick. Deal with it
