The remaining members of UNIT 509 would like to THANK & offer their BEST WISHES to Kara who was the frontwoman of UNIT 509 for the history of the band. With constant serious health problems, working up to 15 hrs. a day with a 3-4 hour drive each day, all evening with her children, hardly ever getting any sleep for weeks at a time & just trying to cope with everything that's currently on her plate, she finally decided to put her priorities into order & unfortunatly... the band just couldn't be at the top of the list anymore. We all wish her the best & will be thinking of her. Bob-Zinn-Adam-Tim
Take care Kara!!!
*Note: Due to the departure of Kara & the past neverending searching for band members, I'll be covering all the vocals for the time being & a lot of new songs will be played (not too good at singing most female voc. songs) - Bob Kise
Thanks everyone! - It's mainly the health issues. The girl has more problems than most 70-80 yr. old people will ever see & she just turned 27. Thanks for any support for her - her husband, Bob

Thanks for the support guys!! These are things that I have been dealing with for a few years now and it is just getting to be 2 much. I will miss playing with everyone it sucks that it took so long for the band to get a name and get off the ground. Who knows maybe a good thing too. I will be fine I have always been a fighter and that will never change. Maybe I will guest star if you guys play when I am feeling good.

Has anybody seen a beer called "Four O" malt liquor? It's hilarious - the bottle looks like it's covered in graffiti. I've only seen it in 40oz bottles, unsurprisingly. It sounds like Gangsta of Ebonics has had a few too many of these.
