Please forgive what will almost certainly bee spelling errors and grammatical faux pax's cause I'm laffing my ass off.....
A few days ago, your friend and mine JP gave us weasel alert. To those of you who knew what (or in this case who) he was talking about here's an update.
Someone we know, who has been annoying thorn in the sides of more than a few of us ever since he came back to town, was arrrested Saturday night. I know this because he called my bass player at 4:30 am to post his bail. (bail was set at $25,000, by the way) He was arrested for DUI and attempting to evade police. Needless to say that my bass player was not amused and did NOT post bail (His exact quote was "That guy has bumped his head").
I'm no legal scholar but I'm pretty sure DUI and attempt to evade a police officer are a couple of charges the local DA takes kinda seriuosly. SO...Hurricanes, and the rest of you know who know who I'm talking about, relax the weasel is quite probably going to be caged for a while.
However; If he does manages to wriggle out of this one, I think we should hail him as KING of the Weasels.
It's not like me to to laugh at another's misfortune but I think in this case it's fair to say that a fool will most certainly come to a fool's end.
It's hard to type while laffing (A weasel update)

This is how the official Pennsylvania State Police Public Information Release Report, received at my place of employment, reported The Weasel's misadventure:
"Troopers attempted to stop the accused for further investigation into a crash. The accused failed to stop and led troopers on a pursuit into the city of Altoona on snow covered roads during a snow storm.
The accused was apprehended after he stopped near his residence.
Accused faces 3 counts of rrecklessly endangering another person; fleeing or attempting to elude police; DUI; driving while DUI suspended; and numerous summary offenses.
Accused was arraigned before District Justice Fred Miller, and lodged in Blair County Prison on $25,000 bond."
Also according to the report, the incident happened around 9:45 PM on Saturday night along Union Avenue in Altoona. I drove through that area about 45-50 minutes after it happened.
Like FatVin said, it looks like Weasel will be cooling his heels behind bars for a while.
