Do you have any pictures, serial #'s or anything that would help us keep our eye out for them? That's BS when this kind of stuff happens.

Sams3rdi,

We'll all keep an eye out I'm sure... you may want to keep an eye on the adds in papers and stuff > I'm sure you already thought of that. I'll keep an eye on the traders guide but even a list of the items would be helpful for this forum. I'm guessing Smith's doesn't insure their shed's....?

Noose their sacks with a set of 12's and hang the bastards from the highest ceiling.... we'll use their sorry, theiving, cowardly carcass's for a pinata if you find 'em!

Good Luck & let us know how things progress.... I'll keep my eyes open.

Check E-Bay for your equipment. A guy I know had stereo equipment stolen out of his house and it ended up on E-Bay

my sympathies. i had 3 electric/acoustic instruments stolen from my car a year ago. fortunately, the fuckin idiot that stole them sold a guitar to one of my friends. filing a police report is such a waste of time. may fortune shine upon you.

No luck yet in finding any of our stuff. I've hit every music store and pawn shop within a 50 mile radius of Altoona and given them detailed lists of all the equipment that was lifted. I've got an an item watch on e-bay for every item also, and nothing has turned up as of yet. The punks probably are sitting on the stuff till the heat dies down, but they've got another thing comming, cause its not gonna die down anytime soon. The 5-0 told us that a church in Puzzletown was robbed earlier that week, and a P.A. and keyboards had been stolen. I guess someone's starting a band out that way in the Newry area and thinks this is the easy way to go. We've got a lot of friends in the music scene in the area so hopefully they're stupid enough to walk on a stage somewhere with something of ours and the payback WILL BE A BITCH! Thanks to all who have been on the look out, it's gratefully appreciated. If anyone would want some pics of the guitars e-mail me @ Charltor420@msn.com and i'll get them out ASAP, or if you've seen or heard about any of the items listed, email me, or Matt @ IMFEDUP@charter.net Lata bros...Dave

Another suggestion: If anyone gets a chance to go to Pittsburgh, there are 2 places in Monroeville that sell used instruments legitimately. Guitar Center (behind the Monroeville Mall) and Music-Go-Round on the opposite side of Business Route 22 from the Monroeville Mall. (It's in the same plaza with Jared Jewelers). In Pittsburgh, there's Johnny B Goods, on the 2nd floor above Hollowood Music in McKees Rocks, and Pianos & Stuff (Freeport Rd) off of Rt 28 in Blawnox. All three are large stores.

I go to Pittsburgh about once a month to check things out, look at new products, get literature, check prices, etc. You can pass along any information, etc. so they can look out for the stolen stuff. Unfortunately, I just went down a week ago, so I won't be there for a while.

Fortunately, I've never been a victim, but I know you cannot be careful enough. Good Luck!!

It SUCKS for someone to steal from you something you may earn money with, and get pleasure from.
