Hello Everyone,

Here is the recap of the July 30 edition of Q94's weekly local music program, "The Backyard Rocker," which airs every Sunday night from 8 to 10 PM on WBRX 94.3 and WBXQ 94.7.

Once again, with no guests scheduled in studio, we took the opportunity to again catch up on the new recordings that have arrived at “Backyard Rocker” headquarters in recent weeks. We debuted new tunes from Charles Marciano, Billy Price, The Clarks, Erin Dragen, Jackson Monsour, Shane Zack, Lumpy Gravy, Poptart Monkeys, Juiced, Canto 6, Holis, Kiwi and Science Fiction Idols. We also reviewed the debut CD from Shades Of June, Life Sentences, on “The Professor’s CD Corner.” (The review can be read in the “Backyard Rocker” section of the message board area on Q94’s website, www.wbxq.com.

We’ll hear remakes from the likes of Felix & the Hurricanes, Michael Reich, Silver Sunday, Fat Vinny & the Wiseguys and more. Plus, we’ll be joined in the studio by a band known for covering 80’s hair-band favorites on regional stages, Hair Force One! The Cover Song Special edition of the “Backyard Rocker,” next Sunday night!

Check out “The Underground” as it features different unsigned local and regional bands every week; and watch for “Backyard Rocker” updates on the show each week as well!
