Well my take on the Radio stations are this, why NOT go to classic rock what else is there? think about it if you listen to what's being put out it's mostly all remakes of hits from yesteryear and believe me the first time around was MUCH better then the remakes, I recently heard a remake of Grand Funk Railroad's "we're in an American Band" and I really think Grand Funk did it much better, but this is just my opinion, we either have the all chick music ,clarkson,spires,etc... or we have gansta rap, or we have classic, there's nothing out there that's earth moving, yeah I like all musicians would LOVE to hear Dream Theater,Fear Factory radio Stations and bands realted to them BUT, how long do you think that radio station will be broadcasting? NOT to long . BUT I DO AGREE WITH YOU

I'll have to agree, this area sucks for radio. I don't even listen to our radio stations anymore.

While it doesn't sound like you meant that as a racial or religious slur, be assured that the Jewish members of Rockpage probably don't find it as amusing as you do. :?

I listen, not religiously(no offense to religious people), but if I'm listening to the radio at that time on a sunday, it's on The Backyard Rocker. Caught most of it last night.

The "Cat's In The Cradle" song with Dustin and his dad last night was very cool.

Yep. The only time I don't catch Q-94 or The Backyard Rocker right now, is when I'm out of the area. "Backyard Rocker Rocks", is not just another catchy Felix and The Hurricanes tune. 8) Sure, some people can't get reception, but some local Bands and Musicians have had their kick-ass tunes played on there by JP and not even known about it until I or others mentioned it to them. Tsk, tsk, tsk. :D I think it's a hoot how it's assumed that everyone can simply go on out and have satellite radio or whatever the frick it is installed in their vehicles. No thanks, even if I could, I wouldn't. That's why there are CD and cassette players in vehicles. :) I believe a young man, in a rare moment of sheer GENIUS, said it best not too long ago: "support the supporter".

Don't you get tired of your CD collection? I have a lot of songs in the library and a CD burner, but even still, I get tired of the same old stuff over and over. When 105.9 went country, that was the last straw.

I spend more on iced tea and cookies every day at Sheetz than I do on my satellite radio. The service is like .42 per day, and even with the cost of the receiver plus installation, it's under $1.00 a day for the first year. If I could kick my cookie and iced tea habit, it'd be ahead of the game.

I don't listen to "the same old stuff", over and over. I listen to Music I happen to LIKE on Q-94, and have quite a varied, constantly growing CD collection to choose from, certainly nothing I'll ever be "tired" of. I'd never PAY for radio on the principle of it, but to each their own.

i dont mind the classic rock format, what does suck is there is so many good songs from Led Zepp, Rush and The doors etc. but they play the same fuckin ones, play some other tunes from these bands for god sake!!!

Sirius does kick major ass 8)
