Thumbs up to the local scene!!

I don't know why I've waited so long to join Rockpage but now I'm in! Since this is my first topic I'd just like to give our local scene a HUGE thumbs up! I've played in numerous bands throughout the years and have played everywhere from Vermont to Florida to FT. Wayne Indiana and I gotta say....nothing beats home! (Altoona, J-town, State College areas) Never anywhere have I witnessed such a close nit music community. Everyone I've met, played gigs with, played in bands with, for the most part have all been great people. Everyone supports one another and tries to help each other out and believe me you just don't see that everywhere! Sure everyone has a few complaints, and there's always room for improvement but over all we have something here that every musician, club owner, live music fan, should be thankful for!
