Jim....first off.......much thanx for including Oracle from Brok*n on your year end review! Brok*n made a nice name for itself in roughly a year of playing out before we had to disband due to Justin's throat problems. We always got great response from you and from everyone out your way!
Second....Thanx Jim for all ya do for the local band scene! I haven't gotten out your way yet with the new band but I know soon as we do you'll be here like you always are. Out rocking it up and supporting the bands!
Third.........an update for all of you that were Brok*n fans on what we are all doing now..... Justin has taken the bass role on this time for a GREAT band called Cell 7 based out of the berwick area. It features on guitar Bill formally from PopTart Monkeys and Eric formally from Ozone Babies. The have one of the best male lead vocals I have heard yet in the local scene. Check them out at www.cell7.net and download their originals from the music page and you will see what I mean!
Eddie and I put a project together called Girth. It also has the former drummer and bassist from Aftermath and Stonefaith. I have taken over the lead vocal slot. We have played out a number of shows already to get out feet wet, including shows with our buds The Grimm and WIskerbisket, and are now taking time off to write a ton of orginals and plan on hittin the scene HARD by early spring.
Rhino is currently puttin a projest together at this time. Hopefully they too will be hittin the area soon!
Again Jim.....much thanx and luv for all ya have done not just for us but for all the bands you have worked with!!
Jay

Thanks for the kind words, Jay, it's always appreciated. I'll be looking forward to seeing both Girth and Cell 7 (and Rhino's project) in 2004!
Also, thanks to everyone who has given me positive feedback on this past Sunday's "Backyard Rocker" 2003 Year In Review Special. This show is easily the most involved special I put together every year; this year's show took me roughly 12-13 hours to compile the information, write and produce. It was rewarding to hear the completed special run on the air, and very rewarding to hear that listeners enjoyed it.
