Boy , I wish I could have been there , WitchChic.
I've been on the receiving end of the Rockpagers' generosity. Both with their finances and their time n talents....and we have some awsomely talented musicians here.

Good luck , and God bless you for taking such an interest in your friend.

Rockpagers are some of the best people there are.

To WitchChic and everyone else involved, my apologies for not making it there; the John Baker benefit in Houtzdale didn't conclude until just shy of 1 AM, so I couldn't get there in time. But I'm glad the night went well. This was just one great weekend all the way around!

all the bands had a great time, and we all hope that the money raised will help out a fellow local in a difficult time. HOC got to meet some new friends, and hang out with some old friends as well. anytime you want to get together SOS, give us a call; you guys were great!!! CF is always on, and FedUP are the funniest, nastiest guys we've ever worked with (sanchez should do stand-up!!!) . Atomic Blonde gets props for having the balls to play with a bunch of metal bands, and strutting their stuff. hell up to all!!!

First of all, a big THANK YOU to WitchChic who came up with the idea for this benefit, organized it, and saw it through to the end. I know it was lot of work and you pulled it off better than some professional I know.

Atomic Blonde was very happy to participate and do what we could to help.

Thank to all the other bands that came out:

Choking Faith, who started the show off with a bang and got the crowd moving right from the start.

Fed Up, a metal band with a sense of humor (the best Atomic Blonde Tribute band ever).

House of Cain, a really nice bunch of musicians. (did I mention that Jason was PRESIDENT of the Disco Club at Blacklick Valley H.s. ha, ha),

Sounds of Silence, whom we didn't get to hear, and who came a long way to help out.

Thanks to all the metal guys who danced and rocked out to our set. (I know you're all really repressed Dico/pop musicians at heart.) And thanks for introducing us a new genre of music that we weren't all that familiar with.

Thanks to the sound and light crew, Aldo's, the bartenders, and everyone else who helped make this work.

We love playing benefits, so keep us in mind in the future.

"WOW"...that doesn't even BEGIN to cover what a great time last night was. I just missed Choking Faith, but I am going to get to see them, one of these days! Props to FedUp, as always (and yes Don, I freely admit it, I like "The Chicken Dance" and dislike "The Electric Slide"!), but Atomic Blonde caused a total NUCLEAR MELTDOWN!!! The sight of Jason and Danny from HOC, Eric and Mike from SOS all bustin' moves was priceless (Jason, Bob and Curt couldn't stay still, either! :)), and the sight of Dave - TornandFrayed - with his "Hooked on Demonics" t-shirt, no less, grooving to Cyndi Lauper's "She-Bop", whoo-wee! Then, seeing Jason, "Darth Tatum" - doing "The Worm" and witnessing him put a dollar bill down the front of  "who-ah" Mike's pants, those images are forever burned in my brain! "...do a little dance, make a little love, get down tonight..." K.C. and the Sunshine Band/Atomic Blonde forever!!! Oh, and Danny finally DID get a pair of "Double Ds" in his face - the only thing is, they belonged to Dirty Sanchez, BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Last night was a BLAST, a great time I'll never forget! BIG HUG :D
(P.S. to Eric...I think your smeared eyeliner gave you an Alice Cooper-like quality...you looked fine - but next time, maybe it would help if you didn't let Mike "finish you off", LMAO.)

Chell, you did a wonderful thing for a friend and I hope donations continue to come into Aldo's, or where ever, for Meeka's family...

I think everyone pretty much said eveything I was going to say already. l.o.l 8) I'm very proud to have been a part of such a awsome show and to have the honor of graceing the same stage with all the killer bands will be something I never forget . I don't know if I've been anywhere there was so many Rockpagers before and let me just say it was nothing short of awsome . It was very cool meeting everyone and I hope to get up that way more often in monthes to come to see full shows of the bands who played last night. Thanx to Jason from Choaking Faith for the phone numbers and to Jason from House Of Cain for the c.d., I promise that down here in "Hellbilly Land" they will be hearing your awsome metal blast'n out of my truck window for a long time, and yes, I did listen to it the whole way home ! I don't think I've laughed and smiled as much as I did last night in a quite awhile and to know that everyone helped raise some decent money really makes me smile even more. There is a huge heart that beats inside Rockpage that not everyone knows about and it was work'n overtime last night that's for sure ! What a great group of people we have here ! WitchChic , thanx for have'n us and you did a great job puting this together so fast and to the bands, you will being see'n more of me at shows up there soon. "You guys all FREAK"N ROCK !!! " 8)

Trucula, I hear you...I was laughing recalling last night at my son's Dentist appointment today - they must have thought I was whacked! Wait, I AM whacked! Any way, I was recalling a few things, including, but not limited to: the sound effects of "ooo-ah, ooo-ah" from the entire HOC crew, and the roomful of ensuing madness during "Le Freak" - I think that one had EVERYONE moving, whether in their seat or out of it, LMAO!!! I trust that everybody will be resting well tonight! :D

Chelle & Everyone else...way to go! It just goes to prove that how far an idea can go when you have people with big hearts. I am sorry that I didn't make it to the show - it certainly sounds like it was fabulous.
