Ladies and Laddies,
As we prepare to ring in 2k4,this a good opportunity give thanks to all the musicians and club owners for another fun year under our proverbial belts. The year brought much entertaining and sometimes controversial discussion over this fine grapvine.
Thanks to Ron and J.P. for being most gracious hosts and everyone who subscribed some thoughtful and in most caes healthy,helpful discussion.
The central Pa. music community should be proud of the diversity the area has to offer musically. There is a wealth of talent around here with almost every genre and style hitting area stages on a weekly basis. Being an old road dog myself I've especially been taken by the amount of the newer,younger people bringing in a whole new generation of music to our grateful ears. There is nothing easy in Rock-n-roll except for the music itself,everthing surrounding it (production, booking, traveling, promoting, lying, cheating, stealing) is no fun, but to get up there and play your nuts off for 3 hours is still the most fun you can have with your pants on.
Lets all stick together and make 2k4 even better and louder then years past.In closing thank you all again and best wishes for the holidays and the new year.
