Botticher came over today and played the last cd Wallack was recording. It is so moving and powerful, a virtuoso preformance.

Everytime I hear something that shreds, I think of Jeff. I remember going to Jarret's just to watch him dick around on the latest shipment of gear. Thanks to him I always wanted a G-K head. I finally got one a few weeks ago and I can't look at it without thinking I wish I bought it off him.
15 years known, 1 year greatly missed. I know you're still listening to all of us...

Bobby, you're wrong

that's not all you have - you have all of your memories and whoo, those great stories - every time you think of or speak of him, he's with you once again...the headlights on my car haven't shut off as much lately...a scary thing, true, and I can't HELP but LOL or at least smile when it happens due to the story about him you'd told.

I never had the pleasure of meeting Jeff, but last night, when the Banditios played "Rockin' In A Free World", well, that tune always reminds me of him. It's a small reason, I know...but it's because people told me Jeff was at the G3 show in 2003 that I also attended, and that's the last tune Satch, Vai and Yngwie played and sung...and just about everybody in the audience sung along - a "moment", and it's nice to know I kind of shared that with Jeff.

My sympathy to all of Jeff's friends and family. Love lives on.

Ahh Jeff...what can I say? I have so many good memories of Jeff. What's awesome about a guy like Jeff is that good memories are the only ones you can have. One of my faves was the time Scotty B. and I went over to his house to look at a Mesa Boogie he was selling. Scott played through the amp, fell in love, and bought it. I asked Jeff why he was getting rid of such a sweet amp and he said he didn't need it because his current rig sounded so good. I knew the only amp Jeff had at the time was the Boogie, so I asked him to show me what he had picked up. With that grin of his, he proceeded to plug his Strat straight into his VCR which was driving the reciever of his stereo. It was so Jeff. I swear to God I couldn't stop laughing. It sounded god damned amazing too... His chops were amazing. He just kept getting better too. In the stuff he recorded right before he moved on he was really breaking new ground. It was really textural and expressive and yet blazing at the same time. I remember talking to his brother Scott during the benefit jam at Aldo's and looking around at how many people's lives he had touched and how many had come to pay him tribute. I'm sure he's looking down on us and laughing at our stupid asses. We miss you Jeff!

Yes, I have conjured up many memories all week about Jeff knowing that the anniversary of his untimely passing was near. The main thing I thought about all week was how nice the weather was and that Jeff would have been out fishing everday. That and I got to play Tennis everyday and I can remeber the times we used to play and he'd just laugh because he referred to my serve as "the nuclear serve". Just like many of you, I miss the guy terribly.

I miss Jeff's smiling face and great sense of humor. Not to mention his musical talents!
I remember him trying out for a band we were putting together back in about 81, he was still pretty green and we opted for Tom Fronuer instead. It wasn't long after that that he became a great guitarist.
Then there were all the hours spent at Jarrett's laughing our asses off about the most obscure things.

Awesome videos. Really funny with the whole kick in the balls part too. He was agreat guitar player. Hell he was one of the best that i have seen from that video. He played it like his fingers had little brains of their own and he didn't even have to try when he played. Exactly how did he pass away? I haven't really been posting on here that long and i have no clue what happened to him.

Oh yeah loved the whole megadeth video too kicked ass
