Rock Star 2.....a supergroup rehearsal

Rock Star 2, the follow-up season to Rock Star INXS will premiere this summer searching for a lead singer to join the newly formed supergroup known as "Supernova"

Supernova is currently comprised of Tommy Lee (Motley Crue drummer), Jason Newstead (ex-Metallica bassist), and Gilby Clarke (ex-GNR guitar).

The show will feature their search for a front man/woman....and the contestant group will consist of former singers/frontmen from various bygone bands and projects....seems like they have eliminated the nobodies from trying out

Might be pretty interesting.....

will it never end? $20 says they already know who they're singer is and this is a HUGE publicity stunt for the band. but of course i will probably end up watching every week.

Thing I see is all present players were in great bands.... question is: how long do you think this band will last?

Might be the winners short lived career!

Why dont they do an American Band, a couple different genre's. so many good bands around that dont get a shot because of all the bubble gum shit. Oh yea we need to sell lunch boxes and magazines to lure the 12 to 16 year old girls to the TV. I might wacth if it wasnt polluted with bubble gum pop

I'll say they get a Female singer... Tomy Lee falls deeply in love marries her... Jason Newstead sleeps with her.. Tommy gets pissed... Punches her in the face.. goes to jail for domestic violence again... And all this before they release thier first CD

Truthfully, the fun in the last one was watching that awesome house band play. The guitarist was phenomenal and some of the singers were really good. INXS blew but, the other parts of the show were awesome. I hate reality but, I like good musicians and if they have an awesome house band full of world class musicians again, I'm watching it.

Yaeh dude that house band was pretty damn good. They were fun to watch, not only preforming anything and everything. But I also liked watching the way they worked with all the vocalists. I'll probably watch this one too. Hepittus and all....

....and then Scott Weiland does some smack and one of the greatest bands ever slips into oblivion. Not that the show has anything to do with STP...just running with the theme here
