Hello Everyone,

Here is the recap of the November 23 edition of Q94's weekly local music program, "The Backyard Rocker," which airs every Sunday night from 8 to 10 PM on WBRX 94.3 and WBXQ 94.7.

Thanks to our guests, Harrisburg heavy rockers Num, for a very entertaining two hours. We became familiar with Num's story to date, and heard tracks from the group's debut EP from last year, “Neglect.” Lucky listeners also won copies of the CD and Num bandannas. In addition, since Num reviews nightclub bathrooms on its website, www.nummusic.net, we asked the group to appraise the Q94 upstairs and basement bathrooms. (The upstairs received a score of '8' out of a possible 10; the basement bathroom, in its “arachnaphobia” setting, received a perfect 10 as a candidate to be used on the TV show “Fear Factor.”) We also debuted a new song from Seventh Hour. Needless to say, an entertaining and fun two hours!

This coming Sunday, Nov. 30, we welcome Sherri Mullen to our studio. Starting out as a classically-trained pianist, Sherri eventually began to write songs, sing and play guitar. Last year, Sherri released her first album, “Mask.” Hear songs from “Mask,” plus listen to win a copy! And Sherri and her bassist, Doug Stockton, will play some songs unplugged and live in the studio! Sherri Mullen visits the “Backyard Rocker,” this Sunday night!
