sound card rocks!!!!!!!

holly cow does this sound card kick but!!!

we were messing around with it today. basicly took first track mixed it down real quick ran some compression and a limiter. it turned out way better than i was expecting. we will have to redo the whole thing. playing 117 b/p/m was screwing with us. kinda and odd one to work with. i forgot to turn the effects off for the drum track so that kinda sucks. we got some eq problems with the guitars and still have to put in a bass track. cant complain for the first time with this stuff. we double tracked the vocals to see how that would turn out and it was cool also. if you are really interested in hearing how it turned out just let me know and i can email it. its just shy of 5mb. just remember this is first take for the most part and the mixing is off. im liking playing with the recording thing tho. its a lot of fun.

oh yea i gues i should have told ya what it is. its the m-audio 1010lt card. the dang thing will do way more than i will ever need. im recording some stuff of the band right now. ive always enjoyed doing some recording. you get to listen more so and can hear the parts you want to change. whenever i get the recording thing figured out for mixing and so forth we will be giving away cds at shows. its a lot of fun if yo ask me.

Yeah those are cool cards! I used a 1010 a while bcak and though it was pretty cool. You can get some good recordings with that thing! Have fun!
