So it's over, doesn't mean I can't celebrate all year. I plan on wearing my championship t-shirt as much as possible and I'm sure there are others that will be doing the same.

This is something that has been in the making for a couple of years. I think people should atleast celebrate a little bit. If there are people who dont' like the steelers on here. All they have to do is ignore the posts .. that isn't hard to do ..

i understand. i really do. im glad the Steelers won for everyone. Just because they got there this year, doesnt automatically include them in next year. I know i can ignore the posts. it seems like politics and steelers stuff are everyones passion.

Don't get me wrong, I'm ecstatic the STEELERS won, but regarding a few of the post-win threads...
Let me put it this way, I've always talked to my children about not being "sore winners". I'm also quite content with the outcome of SUPER BOWL XL and that football season, for me, is now officially over.

I'd say the the #1 passion of everyone here, above and beyond everything else, is Music. :)

Dammit Keith, I'm gonna smack you up! Go Steelers! Part of winning the big game is basking in the glory and talking about it 'till all your friends get sick of you. :D

Yankee is right. There are already ten football threads here anyway.
This is a music site isn't it?

The glory goes to the guys who play the game and win. Bad calls happen all the time. Brady is an upstanding guy, and he doesn't throw the football like a girl and that is what matters. Sore winners are way worse than sore losers, proof is in the ten threads in two days. WE didn't win the game THE STEALERS DID!!! It's over get past it.

Would you have posted this had the Raiders won and there were 10 threads about them on here? (That was only half serious) 8)

I agree with that. I don't think that anyone should be told to shut up for any reason, especially on a web forum.

Let's not forget about Cliff, "Awchie" and Mr. Furley!
I'd love to read Cliff's "history of football".

i would have posted this even if the tampa bay Buttfuckaneers had won. i have NO fav team. i ONLY watch playoff games and dont give a shit who wins. it just sucks when 3,000 threads are steeler threads. we could have the same amount of steeler pride in just 2,000. thats all im saying.

buc·ca·neer ( P ) Pronunciation Key (bk-nîr)
n.
1. A pirate, especially one of the freebooters who preyed on Spanish shipping in the West Indies during the 17th century.
2. A ruthless speculator or adventurer.

Are you referring to the Buccaneers? You should be ashamed my friend. We are all "ADVENTURERS".

You do not know how wrong you are YankeeRose. My unbridled passion is the command of the English language.

You missed my point in both of my posts man. When you came here, you made noise and where told to shut up by alot of people. Now you're telling some of the people who stood by you to shut up. And when people aren't talking about the Steelers or music, they are hijacking threads or fighting. It's only because they won the Super Bowl that there are that many threads and truthfully, if you don't like them, don't read them. It doesn't matter if it's Norm Peterson or Kelsey Grammar, they should be allowed to speak about whatever they feel the need to.
