Super Bowl Commercials
Super Bowl Commercials
I thought the commercials were a bit blahhhh.
I liked the dudes worshipping the Magic Refridgerator.
I did like the FedEx caveman. Good visuals but still fell flat.
Overall I thought a down year for cool commercials.
Oh---edit---The streaking sheep was funny.

I thought the Buger King Commercial was A little different.
After it was over I looked at my wife and said "what the hell was that"?
Just a little silly for my taste.
The magic frig and the streaking sheep was my top two favorites

Best commercials..
1) The FedEx cave man commercial: The whole situation where the bird carrying the package, getting eaten by a dinosaur wasnt the funniest, but the dialog between the cavemen was superb, imo. "But FedEx isn't around yet!!!" "Not my Problem".. that was funnier than hell IMO
2) Bud Light "magic fridge" commercial: The concept of 5 college guys stealing from a revolving door with a fridge full of beer is pretty often used, but adding the flavor of a paranormal or almost religious touch to a refigerator is excellent. The worshipping and paying homage at the end was priceless.
3) Burger King commercial: I'm partial to the BK commercials because I like the King character creation, and I think a musicial with a Mel Brooks' like flare to it made it great. A little over the top though when they started placing the burger together, but it still made me laugh pretty good.
Worst commercials:
1) GoDaddy.com commercial: Candice Michelle doesnt make for a good commercial, and I think the age of "contravercial commercials" is over, this commercial wasnt even worthy of being on the pregame show, let alone the actual game. Bad commercial.
2) Bud Light - "bear for beer" commercial: This was just stupid, using the theory of "you need to be faster than the other person running away from the bear to survive" makes ANY commercial mediocre, but when you use the concept of a man stealing a beer (if you remember, he stole a beer last year) this was old, and dumb
3) Diet Pepsi commercial: 3 reasons this commercial was the stupidest super bowl commercial.. EVER.
1) Jay Mohr - not funny in the least
2) Puff Daddy - can somebody please shoot this man?
3) Rap music - lets add to the growing cancer that is rap or hip hop by having a fucking soda can do nothing but open itself and call it music - it's almost like the writers just watched the scene in "Pootie Tang" when he is just standing there in the recording studio, he says nothing and they act like it's the most beautiful thing ever.
All in all, bad year for commercials.. most of them sucked

The "Don't judge too quickly" (Can't recall the company though.), Nationwide "Life comes at you quickly" aging Fabio, Bud streaking Sheep, Fed Ex Prehistoric, and Burger King I thought were all funny as hell. The "pieces" of the burger flopping on one another were a riot. I thought it a great parody of the "big production" singing and dancing commercials of yesteryear.
The little Clydesdale pulling the Bud wagon was so cute and the Diet Pepsi ones sucked. I like Diet Coke better, any way.
