Bettis may only run for 9 yards but but at least four of them will be 1 yard TD runs after punishing drives by the offense. These combined wtih Rothlisbergers 2 to 3 TD passes will be plenty to destroy Seattle. To bad the only thing good that ever came from the raiders is John Madden because he helped make a kick ass video game. If it wern't for the game even he would be worthless.

Re: THREE!
Had they played an AFC schedule, the Seahawks would not have even made the playoffs and would have been lucky to finish 10-6!YankeeRose wrote:Do you think the STEELERS will Win big, as is my feeling, or only by a small margin, which is what the pundits are saying?
Steelers 38 Seahawks 17
And that's being generous to Seattle!

The only way that the seahawks stand a chance against steeler nation is if they can put pressure on Ben. And get him to make mistakes and then capitalize on turnovers and score touchdowns on turnovers if any but the steelers. The seahawks will have to play a perfect game sunday and the steelers will have to make some mistakes in order for seattle to pull this one out.
Even though the game is gonna be in Detroit. This will almost be like a home game for the steelers. It is gonna be rough out there for Seahawks. They are good but not good enough to put the steelers away.

OK, short and sweet Super Bowl prediction:
The Steelers are playing at a level to which few teams are able to elevate ... and they're doing it at the right time. The week off I think has benefited them and I know Cowher has them mentally prepared.
Porter's antics this week were just what the doctor ordered (thanks, Stevens) because he will take the field pissed and focused. He plays best when he's pissed off, and he is pissed off. Porter will harass Hasselbeck all evening, as will the rest of the D, and Stevens will pay for his lack of good judgement and common sense by being relegated to "also suited up" status.
Ben has it together. Nothing more needs to be said. He will play a nearly flawless game and will go deep on the 'Hawks three times throughout the course of the game, hitting Wilson and Ward for big TDs.
Bettis WILL be a HUGE factor in the game. He will have 15-18 carries and two TDs. I wouldn't be surprised if he cracks 100 yards, being that this is more than likely his last game, which just happens to be the SB in his hometown. I've seen Bettis run downhill in games that meant something to him on a personal level (anyone remember the Steelers/Rams game several years ago?) and he has always come up big. This game will be no different. The Bus will have at least one big run for 25+ yards. This is HIS game and he will wear down the Seattle D by mid 3rd quarter.
This is not the Steelers team of the past that is good enough to contend but can't close the deal. IMHO, the Steelers will not only win, but they will dominate.
BadDazeRob's Super Bowl XL prediction:
Steelers — 37
Seahawks — 10
One for the thumb, baby!!!
PS: Feb. 5 is the "36th" day of the year. Hmmmm ...

That's what she said.
Hell yeah, they can pick whatever they want ... they can even pick their noses, doesn't mean the Steelers will lose ...Bert|Evil wrote:I can't help but notice that a lot of neutral fans who were picking the Steelers are now picking the Seahawks. I say let them!!
Rock on ...

He was also 1-6 in Championship games.Darth Raider wrote:John Madden has the league's best all time winning percentage. He did that with the Raiders. Never had a losing season. Did that with the Raiders. The immaculate deception is what saved the Curtain in the 70's.

I'm going with the Steelers today by 7.
If youth knew; if age could.
