Hello Everyone,
Here is the recap of the October 26 edition of Q94's weekly local music program, "The Backyard Rocker," which airs every Sunday night from 8 to 10 PM on WBRX 94.3 and WBXQ 94.7.
With the Halloween season upon us, we tried a new spin on the annual "Backyard Rocker" Halloween Special. Instead of our usual band guest, we instead went with a Halloween theme, filling this week's two hours with bands and music that tied in with Halloween. We heard from bands with Halloween-friendly names (i.e. Pensive FEAR, HORROR Technics), songs with Halloween-friendly titles ("Spectre," "Psycho," "Mask," "Creeps," etc.), and also featured bands with scary images or live shows (The Grimm, Horror Technics, Inversion). Along the way, Halloween soundbytes, and of course, your scary show host. Hopefully it was as fun for you to listen to as it was for me to put together!
