Polamalu HURT

Post by Punkinhead »

Yes, Troy Polamalu "tweaked" his ankle yesterday and Dan Kreider hasn't practiced all week. Both are apparently still playing but, the level that they can play at is unknown....

I heard about that also .. He will be o.k to play. I don't think there is anyway he would want to miss this.

A Steelers defensive player "tweaks" his ankle before the Super Bowl...If Polamalu is like any other defensive player, you'd probably have to rip his whole leg off to keep him out of that game, and even then he'd probably try to run on the bloody stump!

As I recall, back during the Steelers' 70's run, Lynn Swann was pretty banged up before one of the Super Bowls, but he wound up making one or two big catches to help the Steelers win. And look at T.O. last year.

As I said, it would have to take a MAJOR injury to keep Polamalu or anyone else out of that game on Sunday.

I am not getting worked up about this one like I did yesterday about the ref situation. Like JP said, nothing is going to keep Polamalu from the big game. I don't think a "tweaked" ankle would keep him out of a regular season game, let alone the Super Bowl. The trainers will get him taped up and he'll be on the field running around like crazy.
For booking info for the PETERSBURG TAVERN, call 669-9428 Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays after 8 p.m., Sundays 11 a.m.-5 p.m. or stop by.

Troy will be just fine.....JP is right, he'd play on a bloody stump if he had to.......and he's still be making plays.

I think the injury revelations are just part of the chess-game that is football.----->JMS

 I'm not concerned. WTF is
a "tweaked" ankle in terms of an injury, any way??? It is to laugh! Yes songsmith, it's hype, or as BadDaze Rob and Shelly said, that's what tape and cortizone shots are for. Maybe a kiss on it from ZappasXWife for good measure, too? Couldn't hoit!

Not when the Steelers are in the Super Bowl 2 days away and there are a ton of Steelers fans on here...I believe anyways that it falls under the category of if you don't like it, don't read it...

the question isn't "is he gonna play"..of course he will play!

the devil himself couldn;t keep him from plaing!

the question is will this slow him down by a millisecond? make him heistate to "push off" that foot!!

ever try to walk on a sprained ankle? even a mild one? hurts like heck!

no matter what this ain't a good thang
