It seems to me that production is overrated. If the band sucks, production doesn't matter. It just takes shit and makes it louder shit. And what's with all those flahing lights? Gives me a headache. Just get up there and play. If the band is rockin', they'll draw with monitors for mains teetering on bar tables.
