Robert Randolph and the Family Band... I said on here a few months back... this is something guitarists should check out. He plays steel guitar, but not the whiny country stuff (although he really does THAT well,too) he plays a style known as "sacred steel", rooted in gospel, that has a female voice quality, and lots of soul, but it's definitely rock. He plays jam-band concerts a lot... check him out!--->JMS
