Super Bowl Ref

Post by BadDazeShelly »

I just read that the ref who screwed up the Polamalu interception call in the Colt's game is going to be a ref at the Super Bowl. Instead of being punished by the NFL for his mistake, he is being rewarded by being a ref at the Super Bowl. What a bunch of crap! Anyone else think this is a bad decision by the NFL?
For booking info for the PETERSBURG TAVERN, call 669-9428 Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays after 8 p.m., Sundays 11 a.m.-5 p.m. or stop by.

I think it is rediculous. They should run that guy out of town on a rail. You would think that his house getting vandalized would be enough to make him not want to.

I do know one thing. Cowher will be watching him like a hawk. Just like everyone else, he know the moron will try and win it for Seattle ..

The ref for every playoff game should be the great Ed Hochuli. I think he's the best in the game.

Un-freaking-real! Yeah, "Oops I" screwed up in the last Super Bowl the STEELERS were in, but another memory for me are the many bad calls that definitely affected the outcome.
However, being that Pittsburgh is the favorite and a TON of money is going to be on this Super Bowl, just maybe he'll be in the STEELERS' corner. I say he can shove it, I want to see them win based on their playing ability alone, not "help" from a crooked Official. They're rewarding him for being a Jackass. No, he's a Zebra! GO STEELERS!

Where did you read this? I'm curious to see if this is actually true, or a pre-superbowl rumor?

Believe me, I'm glad it was a rumor!!!

While I was researching the above I found that the Ref from the Ind game had a rock thrown through the window of his house after the shit calls he made.

That's just plain funny.

According to the AP, Garth DeFelice, who was on the Indy game crew, will serve as the backup umpire for SB XL.

Rest easy, Steelers fans ... DeFelice was the umpire that GOT THE CALL RIGHT on the field and signaled Pittsburgh ball, following the interception.

That putz Pete Morelli is the guy who overturned the call and gave the ball back to Indy.

Shelly read what she read in the CDT, which was inaccurate.

That's what she said.

Sorry, guys!
Read this at 7 a.m. after only a few hours of sleep and got so worked up that I didn't double check to make sure info was accurate. Got myself in a tizzy for nothing.

I heard Ed Hoculi laid the smack down on Morelli....
Now he's doing peewee games , and getting his house vandalised by 6-year-olds.
