realize that the time I have put into this may in my mind seem like an eon, but its relatively a short period of time for an engineer/producer I would imagine

this is one of our more aggressive tunes, but yet it has some interesting dynamics I think... of course those dynamics are prob left up to the listener and are never truly captured by the standards that "engineer/producer"'s may be looking for...

Thanks. i was a little timid about posting it. Only because its not what I believe is a true reflection of our total sound. I think the collection will better represent that. I figure I have 10 hours into recording, and like you mentioned I just bought the gear.
Cool deal. thanx for the replies.

I am eager to figure out little tricks to get those toms to cut a little more. The kick situation I believe I have covered. Im waiting for a small piece of gear. The original kick sound never made it. Thats a Nady kick mic with a tweak in the EQ. I personally like the sound of a triggered kick. Do not attempt to use pulse sticky triggers, they are garbage.
