Steelers vs Colts priceless
Hey No surrender!I just thought it was odd, His right arm was around and bent to the left around carsons knee!!! then fell shoulder first into his knee, granted the laws of gravity but if you watch closely,,,,ummmm I don't know, will give the benifit of gravity and bad luck,,,hopefully he recovers and who knows maybe next year!
Anywho GO STEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELEEEEEEEEEEEEERSSSSSSSSSSS!

in any case, hated to see that. that is a tragedy. hopefully not a career ender.
NS agreed he did look sorry but,,,but he kinda grinned and said sarcastically!!!! that is what can happen in this game!!! granted that is the nature of the beast, and hopefully not intentional,Let's hope for a full recovery for Carson just because, isn't this really suppose to be a game and not a money making gimick!!!!!
(ok maybe I will get bashed again)
Go Steelers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! oh and I will be putting High$$$$$$$ stakes on our boys!!!!!
YOU CAN DO IT
YOU CAN DO IT ALL NIGHT LONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok..here's my take:
Peyton Manning, once thought of as a great QB, fan friendly, etc. is now an ass. The way he blamed his o-line for losing, he won't make it through next season. They will let him get hit. He's not a great QB. If you hit him, he will throw the next 2 passes wildly away. When he has time, he's one of the best but, overrall, he's a puss. Carson Palmer is better right now but, who knows about long term. Last time I checked one season doesn't make you or break you.
And the Bengals thing, cheap shot...whatever dude, I don't even need to discuss that type of horseshit with you. I would be saying the same thing if it had happened to the Steelers but, it's bullshit and we both know it. So knock it off. That's all that I am saying on it.

Dan Kreider is the only guy listed as a fullback on the Steelers roster--he is the starting FB.no surrender wrote:ok, we got the Q-back and the team but what do we do for a fullback when the Bus retires.
Leaves a big hole in backfield doesn't it?
Willie Parker is the starting RB. Bettis is 2nd string and used for short yardage situations. I don't want to downplay his role, but it shouldn't be difficult to replace a #2 running back. Just about any of the Steeler backs could perform well in those short yardage situations.

Re: Hmmm
I'd take Cliff Stoudt over him!!AtoMikEnRtiA wrote:i dont care what anybody says..tornandfrayed wrote:Then I guess Dan Marino cannot be called a great quarterback! How about Fran Tarkenton? Warren Moon, Dan Fauts, Neil ODonnell (oops!). There are a lot of great QB's that never won a superbowl. The problem with being a great QB is that everyone expects you to carry the team on your shoulders. I think that Peyton will get a ring or two. I think that Ben might get a ring this year. I can't get into the whole animosity towards any players, I don't know them, never met them and they certainly haven't done anything to me.
I want to see a good game. I would like to see Peyton get a ring, I would have liked to see Dan Marino get a ring. Sometimes it just does not happen, doesn't mean your not a great QB.
If the steelers lose I would not go so far as to diminish their accomplishments for the season based on that. I thought they did great last year at 15 and 1.
I also think that Matt Hasselback is a good QB who is getting better quickly. Shawn Alexander, MVP of the league. I think that this game is going to rock!
greatest quarterback of ALL time..
Wally Richardson...

It takes alot to be great. It is pretty much undefinable. Carson Palmer is NOT Dan Marino and neither is Peyton Manning. Let's see those numbers they put up with Sammie Smith (that's right, he was the best that Marino had...what a damn shame) in the backfield to run the ball.RobTheDrummer wrote:Why does everyone think Carson is so great? Do numbers really dictate greatness? Or is it the player and the bowl?
On the other hand, neither is as good as Montana either. To me they aren't great but, Carson would be before Peyton (who as it turns out is a dickwad).
