April Wine rockin for 36 years!
Yep, April Wine is still alive and kicking, for 36 years running. 75% of the band is still the core line-up from their 70's/80's heyday. They have a website, http://www.aprilwine.ca/. They pretty much play shows in Canada these days. They plan to release a new CD in spring, I might have to order it and check it out.
I was always a fan of April Wine. I particularly liked the First Glance, Harder...Faster and Nature Of The Beast studio albums, and also their live album Live At the El Mocambo. I play their stuff from time to time on Q94's "Closet Chronicles" (Sundays 10-midnight, shameless plug).

I still dig April Wine... they've become sort of a mullet-head stereotype, but I don't care. They did great 70's pop-rock. When I was in Nitro, we had a chance to work with a well-known record producer, who went with April Wine's singer's solo record instead. I'll never forgive him for that. Okay, he's forgiven... his record never went anywhere, either.---->JMS
