Dear Momma - Tupac makes me cry. :(
My sons use to sing it to me. 14 yr old use to have it playing on the comp with a note telling me that he loved me & to have a good day when I would get home from working nights and he had already left for school.

Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word by Elton John always gets to me.
Paper and Pen By Alecia Nugent
He Stopped Loving Her Today by George Jones
Alone Again, Naturally by Gilbert Sullivan
You Don't Know How Lucky You Are by Rhonda Vincent
She's Out of My Life by Michael Jackson
I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry by Hank Williams, Sr.
Tears by Rush
How Can I Help You Say Goodbye by Patty Loveless
Where've You Been by Kathy Mattea

Country and Bluegrass does sadness really well. The saddest song I ever heard was written by my brother and I. It's called "The List," and it's about a terminally ill man who tells his son to make a list of messages for people who've gone on to Heaven. You'll never hear it, because we wrote it a few weeks after my brother's wife died, and I simply can't sing it without crying.------------>JMS

Harry Chapin's - Mr. Tanner (a lot of us musicians could probably relate to the story)

Strength Of Fates-Neurosis
It doesn't make me cry,but it is depressing because it's about the guitarists wife who took her own life and left him with 2 small children to take care of.
But the song that makes me a little misty is "Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own" By U2.Only because Bono wrote it for his father who passed away and I lost my mother a little over a year ago,so it kinda makes me sad when I hear it.
