Korn
Since I put the new Korn CD "See You on the Other Side" in my deck I have not stopped listening to it...

Another local song going through my mind constantly these days is "Train" by Rhyne McCormick, from his latest CD Soul Dust. The song turns into a beautiful duet featuring Rhyne and former Foxxy singer Gina Rendina - excellent tune!
And it's also a way for me to pimp Rhyne's appearance at the U.S. Hotel this Friday night, and at the Hitching Post next Friday (1/6)...

"Gentle Groove" - Mother Love Bone.
If you're not familiar with them and you like 90's grunge, this is THE band. MLB ended up spawning two of the biggest bands of that era, Pearl Jam and Soundgarden. "Apple", MLB's double-disc release, is the seminal grunge album, and a must-have for any music fan. Next to MLB, Nirvana sucks ass.

Every so often, one of the songs I play on my late Sunday night album deep cuts program, "Closet Chronicles" (Sunday 10-midnight on Q94, shameless plug), gets stuck in my head for the entire week. That's the case right now, the song that keeps repeating in my brain is "Marvelous Moses," from an obscure British progressive rock band from the 70's called Nektar; it's from their 1975 album Recycled. I actually discovered this album in the 70's and was obsessed with it for a good year; I used to take it out of the Altoona Area Public Library constantly (I think I wore out their copy). Then a couple of years ago, I found a used copy in excellent shape at Arboria in State College, and now I'm back to listening to it again!
