Are there any bass players here who use Schroeder cabinets? I'm seriously considering a 1212.

Yeah, I have a Schroeder 1212. I've had it about a year. It really puts out a lotta volume for a small cab.

*LOL* Gotta love Talkbass. I've purchased a lot of gear from recommendations there.

I'm doing a slight overhaul of the rig (get a new cab and a new bass, and I'll be happy), and I'd really like a cab that is easy to manage. Right now, the two contenders are the Schroeder 1212 and the GK Neo 2x12. I have an Avatar with neos, and the light-weight speakers and shallow cabinet design have me spoiled. I'd love an Eden or SWR, but I really don't want to deal with that much cabinet, especially since I drive a sedan. I'd really like to get the Schroeder, though. I like the punch of 10 inch speakers, but I do miss the roundness that comes with larger drives, so I'd really like to try a cab with 12's.
