He’s a great guitar player, but I think it is his attitude that has inspired me the most. When I was a lot younger, I saw him open for Kiss at the War Memorial. He climbed to a platform above the drum set (probably 25-30 feet from the stage floor) to play a lead and then jumped off. As he jumped, he was still playing the lead and landed in front of the mic in time to sing.

Considering that he was one of the few rock stars on drugs, that night inspired me greatly.
