ThrashKillsYou, Thank Heaven you are okay and for your personal Angel!

Wow, whoever gave that pill to you, I'm sorry, but what a "DING DONG"! I know many people who have no Health Insurance and when ever I can, if I have any on me and I can help people out who are in pain, I do, whether Naproxen or a Muscle Relaxer.

As ucJoe said, Allergic Reactions can happen at any age and everyone should be aware of some of the symptoms: itching, redness (Hives), difficulty breathing (Your Throat can actually swell SHUT.) and swelling of eyelids so it's hard to even open your eyes. All happened to me as a child and again as an adult. They can occur from food, airborne Allergens, Bee and other Insect stings and bites, too when you are older, as well as Medications. Simple Benadryl, sold as Generic Diphenhydramine HCL (The yucky clear Pink liquid.), is a good thing to have on hand and included with a First Aid Kit, just in case...it can quickly counteract Allergic reaction symptoms...at least, that's what I do, as all kinds of Allergies run in my family and it's made the difference between trips to the family Dr. versus the ER. Advice borne from experience.

ThrashKillsYou, don't say you'll never take another pill - if you never have to, that's awesome! :)
Simply be very aware of what you are putting into your body. You're lucky to be alive and have been Blessed in more ways than one!

Wow man, glad to see that you're still kickin'.
I've had my share of near death experiences. It will make a difference in your life, and almost always for the better.
... and then the wheel fell off.
