"Concrete Caynon Boogie" by a guitar flat picker named Charlie Brown from the album "Rural Free Delivery" by Eric Weisburg in 1975. The whole song is a guitar-banjo duel, but the guitar solo acutally knocks me over.
I have never heard a single thing from this giter picker since.
Duane Allman's solo on "Hot Lanta" is short but fierce.

This'll go on a while . . .
"Since I've Been Loving You" - Led Zeppelin

"All Along the Watchtower" - Hendrix
"11 O'Clock Tick Tock" (live) - U2
"All Right Now" - Free (Paul Kossoff)
"Mother" and "Time" - Pink Floyd
"Where Were You" - Jeff Beck
"Push Comes to Shove" - Van Halen
"China Girl" - David Bowie (SRV)
"Cult of Personality" and "Information Overload" - Living Colour (Vernon Reid)

And many, many more.

Time - David Gilmour, Pink Floyd - razor edges melt in your ears
Hey Joe - Roy Buchanan
On With The Action - Michael Schenker, UFO
No One Like You - Doh! Scorps...always getting them and Triumph mixed up.
Eruption - Jan Akkerman, Focus
Dittos on Aqualung and Highway Star
I can never place a song title to any of Malmsteen's stuff, so I'll just add Rising Force and Marching Out.

...Oh, the freedom of the day that yielded to no rule or time...
Hot For Teacher = VH Just a smokin solo no way around it
Since I Been Lovin You = Led Zep Classic Page fast sloppy blues but you gotta love it
Time = Pink Floyd Nothing fancy but typical tastefull Gilmore the solo fits the song perfectly
Surfing with an Alien = Joe Satriani The whole Album just pounds with a bunch of different styles packed into a single album
I am forgetting a bunch but these stand out in my head right now.

There are so many I liked that I couldn't even start to say them ..
If I would put it on the top of the list. I would probably have to say David Gilmour - Mother .. The tone and intonation on that is just mind bogling. Then all the guitar on the wall cd are good.
This is to hard of a question ..

Live version of "Dazed and Confused" by Zep/Page is UNREAL!
Studio versions of "Heartbreaker" and "Black Dog" by Zep/Page
"Eruption" by Van Halen
Live version of "She" by Ace/Kiss
I would say "Free Bird" and "Green Grass and High Tides" and a bunch of others too, but they're not really SOLOS.
