Hitching Post will be open & Hurricanes play Sunday night. No Surrender, you'll like this...NO COVER CHARGE. Plus you can hear Jeff Clapper play the bass guitar like no one else, maybe that will help you appreciate what can be done on the bass. Just a suggestion.

If you could get in the private club that Half-Tempted is playing tonight, you could hear several Bob Seger songs.

It's not about what you look at.....

Try to listen to the bass lines in the music. Notice how powerful the music is when the bass plays the same notes as the guitar.

Its about LISTENING and not about who you stare at.

the best bassists that I know, well the best musicians that I know, have the ability to put their ego aside and play to the song. It doesn't mean shit if you can play 100 notes per second (although it's damn impressive) if the song sucks. The absolute best ones are the ones that can play the song and fill it a little with some showing off their shit. It's not about featuring anybody really, unless they are the shit that's bringing in the bread.
