IMAC Benefit Concert

Post by JayBird »

For awhile I had thought that "rock" was dying out in our area and the surroundings. Well this past Saturday I was proven wrong. Johnstown was home to the first annual IMAC benefit concert. It was a day of music and good spirits. Every band played for free to help raise money for an alternative means to modern health care. Event organizers were Bill Betts and Mark Lutz(PIVOT). If you see these two guys congratulate them on one hell of an event. My estimates for those in attendance reached somewhere around 500+ people. If you see these bands congratulate them on a great performance: Stept On, Pivot, NE146, Rennis, Hardly Knew Her, Retroactive, Hip Sled, John Denver Flight School, Flap Jack n Jill, and Semichrome. Also, thanks to the Professor and Q94. I had a blast and I'm already counting the days until next years event!

I AGREE, Saturday was a very good day. Hats off to everybody who made it happen, and everyone who attended and supported the cause. All the bands I saw did very well. It was also my first time seeing Skell with their new singer, Pat Bono - he picked up right where Scooby left off! All-around good day, I'll have a full recap in a few weeks when I get caught up on "JP's Corner."

Missing cord box

Post by redawg »

Hey everyone, I play for Retroactive (the first band of the day). When I packed up my stuff and left after our set, I didn't realize that I left one of my cord boxes behind. It's a rubbermaid, olive green color box with various speaker, instrument and power cords inside. I'm dying without that box. PLEASE, if anyone knows who has it, let me know. You can leave it at the Castle Pub or I'll come pick it up. There are so many important cords in there I need. I'd appreciate any help on this.
