This is where we should hang out now and talk about music stuff so we will not be bothered by trolls.
It looks cozy.
Hey Tim, want a beer?

I recently joined another discussion board (I know........I am ashamed
), but they have a thread where you post a picture of yourself with your instrument(s), whether you're playing them, or just holding it. I guess the singers can pose with their mics! It's really just about showing off your 'tools of the trade', but it makes for some funny photos! You guys up for something like that? When my new little baby comes, I'll post pics of me with it.
This may be a decision Ron has to give the thumbs-up to......bandwidth permitting!

What are you ashamed of? This place isn't what it used to be, and everyone here knows it. Remember when Rockpage was something worth reading?MOONDOGGY wrote:I recently joined another discussion board (I know........I am ashamed)
I know I have contributed to the BS that goes on around here, but as of this moment, I am never posting anything again unless it has some relavaence to music. I wonder what would happen if everyone tried that. Dear word, we might only have two or three posts a week!
Ban my name, or what you will, the fact remains that I am right, and no one can change that.

When people only talked about music there were only 2-3 posts a week. This board still has music talk going on. It will have its trolls, they all do, and all of the people communicate back to them...I like coming on here to discuss other things that music related, like football for instance. There are a shitload of Steelers fans on this board and I get alot of useful Steelers info. from them. I still find decent music discussions on here as well. There has been a growth in the number of metal fans on here, and I have found some new bands that I dig from reading their posts. The board still is about music but, its grown. And without growth, you get death.DMFJ03 wrote:What are you ashamed of? This place isn't what it used to be, and everyone here knows it. I see the point you are making but, I do think you are wrong. But, then again, that is your opinion and you are entitled to it just like it is mine to disagree with your statements.

Basses: Ibanez SR305, Ibanez SR400 (fretless), SX Jazz Bass. After New Year's, I'll be purchasing a either a Carvin LB75 or BB75.
Cabinet: Avatar Neo 4x10
Preamp: BBE Bmax (SS model)
Power Amp: QSC RMX850. I actually have a Crown XLS 602 that I'll be using, but I need to get that goofy XLR cable with the reversed polarity made so I can bridge it. I should be getting that cable at the beginning of January.
Other: Furman Conditioner, Korg DTR1000 tuner
