So I guess maybe we agree that the concensus is "Black Sabbath" as the first real metal band according to Rockpage philosophy?

I'm not arguing who is heavier, just who was first! :wink: I don't have a band btw, I'm just a fan of live music. I do play a mean air guitar tho! :lol:

To the best of my knowledge Sabbath was first, Black Sabbath self titled

was released 1970...! Sabbath is metal-Zepp is electric madrigal.
