A time for a new camera...

We will be at City Limits this Saturday night for the Hexhed/House of Cain romp through Depravity. Bring your cash and we will thow it in the can. We need about $500 to get this done.

The better the camera, the better the pictures of all the "Rock'N'Roll" Stars!

Two weekends in a row we will give you a location to show up and throw in your cash. If you cannot make it to a show and still want to donate then PM or email me.

After December 11th we will stop taking donations. Take a minute and $20 dollars and show how much we appreciate this guy! JP has done something for each and everyone of us and now he needs some help. I know you guys are going to jump on this! We have all said "Thank You!" a thousand times but thank you and a pile of shit still just leaves you with a pile of shit!

I will announce the next venue when I figure out where it will be. Any money left over after the camera is bought will go right to JP and he can get some accessories.

Tis the fucking season for us to make this happen for one of our own!

Dont forget that JP will need a memory card, which, depending on the camera, will cost about 39-79 dollars, a camera case which will be about 15-25 dollars, and some rechargable batteries which will be about 45 bucks.

Im currently helping him pick out a camera. He sent me a list of cameras that he had looked at and i picked out the one that i think will perform the best for him and gave him some info on it. I sell cameras every damn day, all day...Im the camera guy at Circuit City in j-town. The one that i told him about is a killer camera, and will do some pretty awesome work and is well priced. I do, however, suggest if there is more money left over, to get an accidental coverage plan on it also. It covers everything but fire....and theft. that runs about 129 for 4 years and 89 for 2 years.

I haven't said anything else on this thread so far because I felt it would be awkward for me to sound like I'm asking anybody to help me buy a new camera. I know that this time of the year, there are many, many people out there in our community who need things far more important than a camera. By all means, take care of those folks first!

But to those who have donated anything to help replace my stolen camera, my sincerest thanks. It's quite humbling to know that folks here on Rockpage want to help out with replacing my stolen camera, and it is very much appreciated. Know that your donations won't just replace a camera for me, but will ultimately benefit Rockpage and the music community as well! I have a few ideas for additions to Rockpage that could reach fruition once I am able to upgrade and replace my stolen camera. Any donations for the camera will help make this possible. This speaks volumes about the music scene here not just as musicians, but as human beings. Again, I'm deeply humbled by all that has been done thus far; thanks especially to tornandfrayed, bassistforlife2004, robthedrummer, Ron and all other Rockpagers who have chosen to help me out. It is very much appreciated, and be assured I will continue to do the things I do to publicize the area music scene for a long, long time to come!

Rob, sorry I missed you last night at City Limits. Stopped in to give you the money for the camera. Your band mates said you went to pick someone up.
