What do you think the Score of this Sunday's Cincinnati, Pittsbrugh Game will be? do you think it's going to be a Close game or will it be a blow out?

If the steelers play like they did on monday it will be Bengals 30, Steelers 7. I'm not even expecting pitt to win this one. I am starting lose all hope with them .. They are playing way to much like a pee wee league team ..

I think that Big Ben tasted enough loss to put him in his place. Practice is gonna be harder, and they are gonna be better steeled against passing plays this time. I'd look to Polamalu for an interception in this game. And at Farrior for a fumble recovery. They are gonna hurt the bengals. Thats my prediction.

I think they will win. They needed to get a smack in the mouth I believe. I still don't think they are a Super Bowl team this year (yet) but, I do believe that that loss may have helped them.

Although wouldn't the Baltimore loss have as well?

Damn it. I have no idea. I can't say this week what I think. All I'll do is contradict myself right now.

Let's face it - if Pittsburgh continues to play the way they have the past 2 or 3 weeks, they wont even come close to Cincinnati - if they play better, they could beat the Bengals. But I predict Cincy wins this game, 35-14 and begins the run to a divisional championship

I'm just looking at this season as a learning experience.
Look how long it took Peyton Manning to get the team around him that is this good. It will take some time but once this team comes around there won't be many teams that can compete.
I think they can beat Cinci if they play like they did at the beginning of the year.

I'm sure the Bungles are licking their chops after comparing how they and the Steelers both fared against two common foes, Baltimore and Indy, the past few weeks. But I think the Steelers know their season is on the line with this game, and they will bring it...and prove again that Cincinnati doesn't quite belong with the NFL's elite frontrunners just yet.

I think it will be closer than the first game, though. Steelers 20-17.

It's now being reported that Big Ben is dealing with a right thumb injury, and it's painful enough that trainers devised a protective device so he can throw in practice. If Ben's throwing capability isn't 100%, Sunday might not be pretty...

Yeah, I'll stick by the prediction. Ben at 100% or not, the Steelers know they need this one, this will be a pivotal game that impacts where they go the rest of the season. And if Ben is less than 100%, they still need to get it done; their success can't depend totally on one player. Unlike the past two games, the whole team needs to step it up, now.

I know, I think Ben is a winner too, but he is still only a 2nd year guy and I don't think thay can do it.

I think it all depends on the offensive line. In my opinion - the line has really sucked this year. I don't care if Ben is 100% or if Maddox is in, I don't think it matters if the line can't give the quarterback time for the play or open up the holes for the running backs.

I know that a lot of people I know were bitching about Maddox a couple weeks ago, but I don't think Ben would've been much better (I'm sure he would've been a little better - but not much) because the line sucked!

The Bungles really WANT this game and the Steelers really NEED this game. If the Steelers don't protect the QB, then I think the Bengals will win this one easily.

As always, I'm rooting for the Steelers, I just don't think I'll be all that surprised if they don't pull it off!!!

Final Score: Cincinnati 38, Pittsburgh 31.

It seems the Steelers patch one hole/fix one problem, and another opens up. The offensive line played a lot better today, and Ben bests his all time passing yardage with a bad thumb. But you can't win games when you turn the ball over; some of it was Ben forcing the ball into coverage where he shouldn't have been throwing it, and then the butterfinger fumbles. And what happened to the defense? Except when they had to shut down Cincinnati late to get the ball back for the potential tying drive, Pittsburgh's defense was porous!

I think the Steelers can still get to the playoffs, but their margin for error is closing rapidly; they need to win out the rest of the way, and Chicago next week isn't going to be a pushover.

I'm getting the feeling the Black and Gold won't reach the promised land this year, but I think the future looks bright as Ben learns from his mistakes and continues to gain experience. If the Steelers surround him with the right weapons over the next few seasons, they should be contenders for a while to come.

The reality is that they might not even be in the play-offs this year, and they probably don't deserve to be. When you lose games you should have won, you don't simple enough. But it also is true that Big Ben is getting better and will be one hell of an NFL quarterback, hell he's damn good already. The future looks really good for this team. Although that's not much in the way of solace right now...

It sucks that the only way that they will get in the playoffs and/or win the division is with help from other teams.

I was looking over the remaining schedules for the rest of the season. If the Steelers win out, I think they get in the playoffs as a wildcard. I predict New England, Indianapolis, Cincinnati and Denver as divisional champions, with the Steelers and Jacksonville as wildcards. Jacksonville's schedule - after they take their shot at Indianapolis next week - looks like a cakewalk the rest of the way, as they face San Francisco, Houston and Tennessee. Since they're in Indy's division, they'll get in as a wildcard. Out west, assuming Denver wins the division, San Diego still has to face Indianapolis, Denver and Kansas City; while Kansas City still has to face Dallas, the NY Giants, San Diego and Cincinnati - after facing Denver today (they're tied at 7 as I type this). Both San Diego and Kansas City have very tough roads to maneuver the rest of the way. So if the Steelers patch up their problems and take care of their business the rest of the way, I think they get in as a wildcard. But the next two weeks - entertaining Chicago and traveling to Minnesota - won't be easy (their last two games are at Cleveland and entertaining Detroit).

Wow, if I was a nail biter, I wouldn't have any left! If this year isn't their year - and that's a distinct possibility - one thing was very clear to me as I watched this game: many integral players are very young and they tried so hard with this game - maybe a little too hard. Within the next year or two, as they get better, LOOK OUT! If The Bus doesn't keep playing, I hope he stays on in some kind of Coaching or Advisory capacity - Coaches and Advisors get Super Bowl Rings too, right?

Win or lose, "Bring It" or not, we're with the Steelers all the way. They have Heart...has anyone that saw it, forgotten the image of them holding hands (NOT in a Gay way, either - not that there's anything wrong with that!

) for that Winning Field Goal earlier in the Season? What a "TEAM"!!!

I'm am thinking about going back to being a full time pats fan .. The steelers suck so bad they could get beat by a highschool team. I am hoping they make some changds next season. That front lines is terrible this year. They can not have one person playing the whole game.
