I'm watching the news here at 4:17am. They are showing a little segment about test tube meat. These scientists are taking like cells from cows and engineering meat...what's everyone's thoughts about this...

I read somewhere that a single hamburger from McDonald's can have the meat from 100 different cows in it.

I prefer to remain ignorant about the origin of the food I eat. I know that I shouldn't have that attitude, but I would probaly turn into a crunchy, New Agey, fresh vegatables grown from my garden type of guy if I truly knew.

Once

I once knew a young lady that had the "meat from 100 cows" in her! I sure am glad now that I was sober enough to chose not to eat her.

It's kinda like the book, 'The Jungle'. It was during the depression, but I'm sure some of the habits are still around, such as if a person fell into one of the meat vats, they would go ahead and process them just to save time and a few bucks. As the saying went, they "used every part of the pig except the squeal!"

I wonder what I'd look like with dreds. One of my female friends wants to fix up my hair all "Playboy" before a gig. Wow, I feel so metro. :D

If I had dreds, I'd always be getting pulled over and having my car searched for illegal organic products.

that book is one of the greatest awakenings I ever received as to the industry of processed meat and espically hot dogs - i read that my junior year in high school and upon reading it, i vowed never to eat a hot dog ever again..

but i got hungry saturday nite before the E.o.A show in Shamokin and ate at Coney Island lunch next door, hot dog was actually good, but 2.50 very overpriced... ah well

i promise.. you'll die 5-10 years earlier than somebody who eats meat regularly.. lettuce and carrots arent going to save your ass.. besides, you're eating food that comes from the earth. and soil that is manifested with chemicals, fertilizers, and organisms that will cripple you... lettuce wont save your ass haha go on, have a steak! haha
