Propers to J. Michaels (read this)

Post by cucuplex96 »

Let me just say that this man did CUCUPLEX one hell of a favor.
Our lead singer quit the band yesterday morning and left us in quite a pickle.. We had a gig last night at Electric Ave, and because we didnt have a lead singer we were just gonna cancel the gig. I decided that being the same day of the gig it would be unethical to cancel. So I went out on a limb and put a post here on rockpage. It said we needed to find someone that knew our material by 3 or 4 o'clock. Then about an hour after the post I get a phone call by a Mr. J. Michaels. On the other end of the phone I heard a smart, confident guy that said he could do the job!
I never met Mr. J. Michaels but when he showed up and we got to bullshit'n I knew that this guy had the personality and he was gonna lite it up. Thats exactly what he did. We had more fun with Mr. J. Michaels than we ever had since the beginins of CUCUPLEX. Mr. J. Michaels worked the crowd very well and showed them quite a proformance.

I just wanna say a very sincere thank you to Mr. J. Michaels
And a very sincere thanx to the Rockpage for having such a great community of musicians.

Propers to J. Michaels...................Thanx Dude !!!!
Recording Records DIY, with more than one good song. Watch for my new band

Aww... gee whiz.... You are too kind. :) Thanks to YOU for letting me jam. Image

I had a BLAST last night with Cucuplex - some very cool guys, and a really good band. Image

If anyone out there can sing for these guys permanently, do it - you'll have a ball! Image

Phil, I'm glad that everything worked out for you.

Phil, I'm so glad everything worked out Saturday night! When I knew I couldn't make it down to Altunea,
I was going to head over to E. Ave, but then I got a call from the sleepover my son was at - his stomach had other plans. :) Too bad J can't take the job!

Super crazy mad props to J for pulling that off, and major respect to Cucuplex for not giving up on the gig! This thread makes me happy. :D
