WWE superstar Eddie Guerrero was found dead in his hotel room in Minneapolis on Sunday. He was 38.

Also, there's video of the press conference with Vince McMahon and Chavo Guerrero, Eddie's nephew.

Word has it that RAW tonight will be an Eddie Guerrero Tribute show, with both RAW and Smackdown! stars taking part in inter-show matches. I'll be taping this one.

As somebody who has watched professional wrestling and followed it since i was like 3 - it broke my heart to hear of Eddie Guererro's passing. He truely transcended the art of pro wrestling. He and his entire family have given their everything to the business for more than 30 years. He was one of the finest artists at what he did, and the business is going to take a hell of a beating without him. It's amazing - Tuesday nite he was taping smackdown, getting beaten with a steel chair, and now he's dead a week before he had a title match w/ Dave Batista and Randal K. Orton.. it truely hurts as a fan..

yes im a loser, i watch pro wrestling. deal with it..

Bummer deal. I fell away from watching pro wrestling a few years ago, just as he was really fleshing his character out well, duetting with Chyna. He did get real big real fast, though. Seemed like obvious steroid use to me... he swole up maybe 30 lbs. in maybe 6 months. I hate to see that. Good character, though, and tough as sh*t.-------->JMS

Yeah it is a real shame but he did have some demons with alcohol and pills. But then again alot of them did/or do. It is really sad to see alot of the ones that i used to watch when i watched wrestling leave this world.

I heard this last night and was going to post it. But, I wasn't sure if anyone on here liked pro wrestling or not. From the press conference with mcmahon and what I read so far, there is no evidence of how he died. It is speculated to be pills, I guess he was on antidepressants.

The 15 of this month would make four years of his sobriety. It is a shame. This seems to be a trend in the past couple of years.

I used to love watching him in WCW with the LWo, then when he went wwe with the Latino Heat .. He was a good actor when it came to ring antics and he made the shows very enjoyable ..

I was really shocked to hear about this. I always enjoyed Eddie's comic relief he brought to some of his storylines, especially early on in his WWE run, but also the LWo. I actually got a story about Eddie. I used to go to the house matches and Saturday Night TV tapings WCW did at the War Memorial in Johnstown. I was lucky enough to get aisle seats for one of these shows. I believe Eddie was facing La Parka that night. This was in the height of his "Taco Bell" chant days. I made a sign for that show with the Taco Bell logo and "Eddie loves Taco Bell" in spanish. He came over to me and my friend and made as if he was going to backhand us, then waved it off like we weren't worth it. Very funny moment. I had another friend that actually saw him, Perry Saturn, and Chris Benoit at Snappy's in Bald Eagle shortly after their entrance into WWE. Said Eddie was very nice and thanked him and his brother for coming to the Raw show in State College that night, grabbed their food, and left. My friend was impressed that he and the others stayed there and talked for a few minutes when they just got done doing a show and really didn't have to. Class act for sure.

No shame there. You won't find tougher, braver, and more dedicated performers anywhere else. It's an incredible artform.

What a sad episode of RAW tonight. Seeing guys like Batista and HH breaking down is amazing, and really speaks of the brotherhood those guys must develop on the road. It also reminded me of just how much of himself Eddie put into everything he did. Whether speaking candidly about his life outside the ring, or doing a match while fighting his many injuries, he put every bit of his heart into it. He wasn't just good, he was real.

Rumor was he's been clean for a while. But we all know the damage steriods do on the heart over time.

Whatever it was, hit him really sudden since they mentioned they found him with his toothbrush still in his mouth.

My uncle mentioned he took one hell of a chair shot to the head on the smackdown prior to that. Not sure if that had anything to do with it or not.

These guys put their bodies through alot. Sure wrestling is scripted and staged to a point but tempers do flare and accidents do happen. It's a shame to loose another good one so young.

Yeah steroids over time can really harm ya. Also it was said that he had problems years ago i think with alcohol and pills that he was taking. This could very well been something that he did to his body years ago and stopped and the damage was way to severe and finally caught up to him. Or he started up a bad habit that killed him.

Either way i was talking to a friend of mine today and there have been alot of wrestlers that have passed since i stopped watching it.

Prelim Autopsy reports found nothing immediate. They said it will take a couple of weeks to do a in depth report. I am guessing that what he did in the past has caught up to him. The same thing that happen with the British Bull Dog. It could be a number of things. He could have just had a heart attack from that stemmed from the previous use of things .. It does have everyone wondering ..

Another possibility in Eddy's death, is the overuse of HGH, Human Growth Hormone, just like with Brian Pillman.

It's cool that Eddy finally got to do it all in the WWE, after being held back for years in WcW.

It was strange that all the montage footage on last night's Raw, was from his WWE years, with the exception of like one clip from his last ECW match with Dean Malenko. Since WWE owns rights to all WCW and ECW footage, you'd think they would have made better use of it. On the other hand though, they didn't have much time to put anything together, given that his death was discovered Sunday morning, and both Raw and Smackdown were taped Sunday night.

Early autopsy reports are now indicating massive heart failure..

When they opened up his heart, the walls had already showed signs of heart disease from years of drug and alcohol abuse. His arteries and veins were very narrow, along with the blood vessels, and his workout regimine had caused his heart to grow bigger, and have to work harder and faster that it should.

I thought it was something along those lines. If it was anything else they would have found it in the first stages of the autopsy. The same thing happen to the british bull dog. All those years of working their bodies to hard and the stuff they took in the did it to them ..

I still remember the night after Owen Hart died and they dedicated the whole episode to him. It was one of the most classy things I've ever seen. I remember they were doing mini-interviews before the commercials and Road Dawg was welling up with tears.

Ah yes, the last ever "Over the Edge" - i remember watching that - luckily for everybody on PPV the accident wasnt aired, they were airing promotional spots for the match between the Godfather and the Blue Blazer for the IC title. That nite i realized that these men risk more than their lives in matches, but in intros - it was the saddest thing i ever remember seeing on pro wrestling

The night that Owen Hart died he was supposed to win the IC belt from the godfather. He was going to have a gimmick that he was a super hero and his side kick was some midget wrestler i can't remember his name. But he was also supposed to come down with Owen at the same time. Very erie to bad that they didn't change the entire thing and just have owen come down to the ring as normal. Who knows what wrestling would be like now.

Road Dog got caught with a certain amount of marijuana (the exact amount was never disclosed) and put in jail. Vince McMahon had to bail him out to get to the show. The next day he fired him. I think right now he is in TNA with kevin nash, Jeff Jarrett, Dusty Rhoads, Dustin Rhoads, and such. You can see that on Saturday nights on Fox Sports Pitt at 12:00 a.m .. At least that is when it used to be on ..

I also remember when Owen Died. I was watching that ppv as well. A lot of speculation was that the only reason vince mcmahom had that dedication show was so the hart family wouldn't sue him. They did and I don't believe that is the reason why he did. Vince McMahon may be a pompous at times, but, he does treat all those people like gold.

Oh, an another shocker for you all .. Bret Hart will be returning to Raw some time this month or next month. This will be the first time he was there since that incident between him and Hbk in 1997. That should be interesting to see.
