Why not make it City Limits on Saturday? 5 bands, all rockpagers, a good cause....JP will be there, good times! What do you think?

I'd like to suggest trying to get as many Rockpagers as possible to stop by the Hitching Post next Weds the 16th at 7pm to see Blind Johnny Death. Rumor has it something very cool is in store for that night.

Butchie and I have an understanding and you won't see me at the Hitching Post any time soon.

May I also suggest Victory Lane ... they often have Rockpagers playing there on Saturday nights.

Speaking only for myself, I would go there but not the other places mentioned.

you know, i have heard of something like this being done before, but why not again - do some sort of rockpage outdoor festival this spring like say in april or may - find a place, have about 10-15 bands or more do an all damn day thing ..

i know its been done, but it'd be nice to do it again,.. as far as this winter..

if i were 21 i'd be out supporting you guys on nites im not w/ E.o.A on shows - like ive said to a few people, myself and Randy of Bad DaZe have had this discussion twice now, it seems like everybody is booked on the exact same nites, so it's almost impossible to come out and support, and in our cases, he's wanted to catch an E.o.A show but every time we're on the road, Bad DaZe is playing - and if we were 21 - we'd support Bad DaZe, but we're always away on the same nites.. just an example of how hard it indeed us for us all to come hang out because we're all booked on the same nites..

i think the easiest way would be to just plan a big rockpage show again - its prolly the only way we could all meet n greet eachother - and the like..

The Hitching Post is a restaurant, Wednesday is "Wing Night" and there are under 21s there...I've taken my kids there to see BJD and Broken String, now Texas Toast.

ZXW, I think the BDRob's sad face was becasue BadDaze is at Pelley's Sunday and many 'Pagers will be at City Limits on Saturday...and you said you won't go to either place.

baddazerob you are as cute as a little kid...why not come to the Hitching Post? BJD is da bomb. Didn't mean my post to sound snotty as in I "won't go to those places", I just can't on those nights. Although I do find the drunks who leer at me in Victory Lane quite unsavory.

I too think that it's about time for another Rockpage Benefit. Let's see if Claudio would be into it. It would be awesome to have a jam through that kick-ass system.

If there was a "RockPage Show", you wouldn't need a full band - if you really wanted to play, all you'd have to do most likely is bring your Guitar or Bass and whatever else you'd need and you'd probably get to play. I can't tell you how many Bands I've seen that have had other musicians join in.

yeah, thats an option, but i wont do it. my songs are written for a full band performance....not some jackass on stage with a guitar. with parts missing, it would not be the same. if there is a huge hurry to have a rockpage show right now, then NO i cant play. i dont know why it would HAVE to be soon though. everyone seems to have enough shows.
