I also heard that the singer for Alter Bridge is actually the kid that took the singer's place (at the end of the movie) of that Rockstar movie with Jennifer Aniston. You know, the kid from the crowd he gives the mic when he realizes what it's 'REALLY' about.

Can anyone confirm this?
Yes, Mac, that is Myles Kennedy, the lead singer of Alter Bridge. The info can be found here: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1042872/

The official name credit for the character is "Thor". *Snickers* Thor...
That dude can fucking wail on vocals...No bullshit, he's like Scott Stapp times 1000000000000000000000000000000000.

Personally, I think Scott's voice is generic and anyone can sing like him. Their musicians were good however.

Sometimes, in the middle of a set, for no reason at all, I bust into the "Jesus" pose ...

... I don't know why, it just happens.

Kinda freaks me out. I need a Snickers ...

Despite what you think, mark tremonti actually did write most of the lyrics and music to Creeds songs. Believe me, creed is and always will be my favorite band, ive met the band members several times, and i read all of the interviews from both sides. You would be amazed at some of the shit that stapp has pulled. Did you know that the real problems with creed started after human clay, creed was basically over after human clay because stapp turned into an egomaniac who couldnt control his drinking before shows, hence the big stink that happened at the one show in Chicago where fans actually filed class action lawsuits against creed for an EXTREMELY substandard performace (stapp forgot lyrics and rolled around on the stage like an idiot). if you want the whole story, read some of the threads (older ones) on Creedfeed.com .

I couldn't agree more. Although I have always like Tremonti's work when he's been allowed to play (like a couple ditties on the first album) even when his chops weren't what they are now
I was going to post that. I heard an Alter bridge song on the radio one time and he actually lets loose, I was quite amazed. Same goes for that new Audioslave song on the radio, killer solo...

What you are saying and the whole band is saying are two diff things. Appearently you are reading diff interviews than the rest. Tremonti may have helped on a couple of the lyrics, but he did not write all of them ..

Tremonti wrote 70% of everything, combined.

And yes Punkinhead, Myles Kennedy can wail on vocals, and the dude can shred like tremonti. Its extremely impressive. Wanna check out Tremonti at his finest, there will be a song coming out with Total Guitar Magazine here on november 9th called Ahavo Rabo Taco Salad by alter bridge, its all instrumental, supposed to be wicked. Also, check out the song "The Way I Am" by Fozzy, and listen to tremonti shred at the end of the song.
