I'm all about House parties on New Years eve. It's just one night I don't really like going to a bar. Last year I was at the Elbo Room and ended leaving my date there and puking in the taxi on the way home.

Eh.

my only suggestion for you.. off-roading haha - i assure you - the only other drivers off-roading on new years eve will be drunk drivers, and 9 times out of 10, their offroading will lead to their demise. Im not trying to be an asshole here so please dont take it as such - but it'll reduce the risks of getting hit by a drunk, and it gives you an adventureous, stimulating activity before, and after going to see a show on new years eve..

The best place to go, as with any other night of the year, is the bathroom. Too many times, people get loaded on New Year's Eve to the point where they're pissing on the sides of buildings, in dark alleys, in potted plants, down a friend's pants leg, in empty "MyTea" bottles ... all in the name of "celebration."

I say it's time to take this business back to the place where it belongs ... why try and reinvent the wheel here, folks?!?

I honestly don't believe there are any more "Drunk Drivers" on New Year's Eve than on any Friday or Saturday night, sheesh! There may even be less, because many people get a room for the night, make sure they have Designated Drivers, stay over at a friend's house, or stay home. As it stands now, I'm going to be at Victory Lane Saloon. Last year was the first year I'd gone out for New Year's Eve in many years and I refuse to stay home!
