Original Music?!?!

Post by Mackovyak »

I know this has come up before.......

Well, the thursday before new years I'm sure a lot of you are playing, but would anyone be interested in a little original music night at a certain ski resort?

It would most likely be acoustic stuff since I'm coming up more for X-mas and don't want to haul a big PA, but if anyone's up for it, let me know and I'll start working out the details.

I don't want to get it in the works if no one will show.

Cool Guys,
Let me run this by 'The Powers That Be'

I really wanted to see if there was a vibe for this first before I started pushing.

If you are still interested in bands, I play in a metal band called Subdue. We do stuff like early Metallica mixed with Soilwork and Children Of Bodom as well. We would be up for playing.

SORRY GUYS!!!

Not going to happen. They were kind of interested in a singer/songwriter original music thing which I was shooting for from the beginning. I'm sure you're all good at what you do, but the ski resort around christmas is a tourist area and heavy, original music just wont work there.

Oh well, I tried.

Yeah, you don't have to tell me. 3 Years in South Florida including a few Keys gigs, and now living in Myrtle Beach. I'm probably tied with Ski on the number of times I've covered Margaritaville!

Although most true Conch Republicans hate that tune. It was the beginning of the end for the Real Keys.
